FILLER REIMAGINED
Dr Bilal Malik delves into his passion for aesthetics, and how he creates natural facial harmonisation within INFINI V Line
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO MOVE FROM A&E TO AESTHETICS?
Human anatomy always interested me, and I always had an inclination towards minor surgical procedures.
On top of that, I have a special interest in dermatological conditions and treatments, which combined led me to aesthetics.
I didn’t realise how passionate I would become about the sector, and now I am completely indulged as an aesthetician and a trainer.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR AESTHETIC STYLE OR SIGNATURE APPROACH?
I believe in a natural harmonisation of the face, a holistic approach and thorough assessment.
Patient education is also essential, alongside embracing minimal intervention approaches that deliver optimal results.
Modern aesthetics focuses on correction, not masking.
HOW HAVE YOU BUILT YOUR PERSONAL BRAND WITHIN SUCH A COMPETITIVE INDUSTRY?
I recognised from the get go that it would be difficult, but I’m aggressively progressive.
I targeted the niche elements and mastered in areas that other practitioners would generally not explore. Every time I learned something new I devised ways to improve it further, backed up by studies and trials.
On the other hand I chose to work with the best in the industry and I only chose the premium products that complemented my treatments.
WHAT MAKES INFINI’S V LINE STAND OUT?
INFINI V Line has everything that it takes to perfectly fit into my practice; clinically proven results, premium branding, using a corrective approach.
The products are a clever combination of elements that work in synergy to cater for multi-modal treatments.
The vast range of products facilitates targeting the issues more effectively and efficiently. Focused on natural enhancement through collegenesis, hydration and unique elements, which I haven’t found in other products, all packed in one simple range.
WHAT IS PATIENT FEEDBACK ON INFINI PRODUCTS?
Firstly the procedure is quick, almost pain free and easy to follow. Patients admire how their skin texture, tone and natural subtle lifting is achieved from a minimally invasive procedure. All of my Infini patients have returned for more treatments and they always mention ongoing improvement due to collagenesis.
They also trust the product, because it is a reputable brand, and the products work naturally without any harmful effects.
WHAT IS THE NEXT BIG THING IN AESTHETICS THAT PRACTITIONERS SHOULD BE PAYING ATTENTION TO?
The integration of anti-ageing treatments and wellness seems to be the next big thing.
Aesthetic practitioners really need to watch out for exosomes and stem cell technology as it rapidly evolves into cutting-edge treatments for naturally enhanced results.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUNG PRACTITIONERS ENTERING AESTHETIC MEDICINE TODAY?
It’s extremely important to make a plan based on your existing set of skills, training from the best in the industry and realising that it’s not about just learning the procedures.
Professionals need a wide range of skills, including being articulate, presentable and professional.
Practitioners also need to have marketing and business acumen to excel in this viciously competitive industry.
