The Aesthetic Medicine editorial board’s clinical expertise and diverse range of specialities help ensure the magazine meets the needs of the readers. In this issue, we have received guidance from the following members:

DR IFEOMA EJIKEME

Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme is a renowned figure in medical aesthetics. She was the winner of the highly esteemed Aesthetic Medicine Award for Best Aesthetic Doctor 2024, adding to her accolades including Marie Claire’s Best Aesthetic Doctor 2021 and Tatler’s Top Doctor 2022. A trusted voice in the field, she publishes globally referenced medical papers and regularly offers media expertise at conferences, top-tier titles and major news outlets.

JULIE SCOTT

Julie Scott is an independent nurse prescriber, Level 7 qualified aesthetic injector and trainer with more than 30 years of experience in the field of plastics and skin rejuvenation. She is an aesthetic mentor and international speaker, who has won the Aesthetics Awards ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year’ in both 2022 & 2024, and ‘Best Clinic South of England’ 2023 awards.

AMY BIRD

Amy Bird is an aesthetic nurse practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience. She is the founder of KAST and chair of the British Association of Medical Nurses. Amy earned her Bachelor of Nursing in 2010 and found her passion in plastic and cosmetic surgery. She has worked with injectables, lasers, and noninvasive treatments for over seven years.

DR GINNI MANSBERG

Dr Ginni Mansberg is a GP, TV presenter, podcaster, author and columnist. She is a physician specialising in women’s health, menopause and all things skin. She is also the co-founder and medical director of science-based cosmeceutical skincare brand, ESK. Dr Ginni splits her time between media commitments, seeing her beloved patients and entrepreneurship.

DR SHIRIN LAKHANI

Dr Shirin Lakhani is a GP and aesthetic practitioner specialising in intimate health, sexual dysfunction, and menopause. A lack of NHS care for women has led Dr Lakhani to offer treatments for Lichen Sclerosus, vaginal atrophy and many more intimate health issues. She is a significant voice of authority within the intimate health space.
