HIGH-TECH FACIALS... MICRONEEDLING WITH CELLTERMI REVIVE NX EXOSOMES

Editor Kezia Parkins tried one of Korea’s most sought after exosome treatments with therapist and UK distributor of Celltermi

THE LOWDOWN

Revive NX Exosomes harness growth factor intelligence and Nidogen-1 to repair, regenerate, and optimise collagen synthesis.

By optimising the activity of Nidogen-1, Revive NX Exosomes help to reinforce the skin’s architectural integrity and enhance collagen synthesis at a cellular level to support improved dermal density, firmness, and elasticity.

THE EXPERIENCE

My facialist Nita McEvoy started off with a light cleanse with Environ cleansing gel. She has been an Environ therapist for 17 years where she became an expert in skin and especially microneedling.

McEvoy is also the UK distributor for Korean biotech Celltermi - the brand that created the exosomes I would be experiencing during my facial.

This treatment was performed a week before Aesthetic Medicine London and I wanted to look fresh and glowy rather than stressed and tired.

McEvoy offered me numbing cream but as I was short for time I skipped it. Plus, I have had a lot of microneedling and if it is not too deep, I can normally manage the pain. McEvoy said she would experiment with the depth to see what I could tolerate and would adjust it for different areas of the face. Before the needling of each section, she applied the exosomes which are UK and EU compliant, I might add. Each treatment uses 150 billion exosomes and contains the patented formula for CHA-Nidogen-1.

“It is the molecular glue that holds the epidermis and dermis together and diminishes as we age,” explained McEvoy. “Plastic surgeons love it, as if Nidogen-1is restored, stitches hold better and the recovery is much faster.”

McEvoy microneedled the exosomes section by section. While this was certainly scratchy, it was not painful or too uncomfortable. I got a great redness response which assured me that the results were going to be great.

Before sending me on my way with some spf and aftercare, McEvoy applied a cooling sheet mask to calm my inflamed skin.

THE RESULTS

Immediately after the treatment my skin was red and felt really tight. This calmed quickly and in the days following my skin started to look even, clear and super fresh. I was glowing and my face felt firm and snatched. Exactly what I needed to feel confident to present the Aesthetic Medicine awards in front of hundreds of people.

BUSINESS BENEFITS

Clients are increasingly looking for regenerative treatments such as exosomes and PDRNs so now is a great time to bring some on board. With the added benefit of Nidogen-1, these exosomes are bound to give your treatments an edge and provide you with a USP.
