INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF ADVANCED FACIAL AESTHETICS (IAAFA) 20TH ANNIVERSARY ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND CHARITY BALL

De Vere Beaumont Estate, Old Windsor

Aesthetic Medicine editor, Kezia Parkins attended the IAAFA 20th Anniversary Annual Conference and Charity Ball, at the De Vere Beaumont Estate.

The event was a significant milestone for IAAFA, the organisation founded by Prof Bob Khanna to unite clinicians from across the world under a shared vision of excellence, safety and professional integrity.

Practitioners from the UK and overseas gathered for a full day of education, featuring advanced skin regeneration protocols, new approaches to combination therapies, updates in patient psychology and behaviour, and practical discussions on real world clinical challenges. Delegates benefitted from interactive sessions, a live Q&A and a high-level panel debate on managing patient expectations, providing insights that could be applied directly in clinical practice. Exhibitors showcased a selection of the latest technologies and products, highlighting the rapid progress of the aesthetic medicine landscape.

The celebrations continued into the evening with the Anniversary Charity Ball, an elegant event dedicated to raising funds for children’s charities. Over the past two decades, IAAFA has raised a remarkable £404,097 to support vulnerable children and their families. This year’s contributions added significantly to that total, with guests enjoying a champagne reception, a delicious three course dinner, and lively entertainment including auctions, raffles and live performances. The IAAFA Aesthetic Awards also took place, honouring clinicians who have demonstrated outstanding standards of care, artistry and patient protection.

LYNTON REDTOUCH PRO LAUNCH

Tower Bridge, London

Aesthetic laser and IPL manufacturer Lynton invited clinic owners and members of the press to celebrate the official launch of the new RedTouch Pro – the first laser designed to directly target collagen – at the iconic Tower Bridge. Taking place along one of the panoramic Walkways, 33.5m above the city streets below, guests were treated to cocktails and canapes, before chatting to Lynton’s educators to find out more about the new machine. Members from both Professional Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine’s editorial teams joined the celebration, hearing from Lynton’s managing director Jon Exley, sales manager Jamie Cross, and general manager of DEKA Laser, Paolo Salvadeo.

VIVACY FACULTY AND AMBASSADOR SEMINAR

The Royal Society, London

Connie joined Vivacy’s ambassador seminar, for an insight into their plans for 2026.

Professionals from across the country gathered for two days of discussion and training, surrounding their upcoming launches and innovations for the next year.

The first half of the day focussed on their latest launch, REJURAN, a polynucleotide-based skin regeneration treatment.

The interactive seminar also included a discussion and workshop focused on Vivacy’s upcoming plans for VITAE, the Vivacy injector training programme.

It was an insightful day of updates, networking, and training — bringing together Vivacy’s passionate ambassadors.

NEAUVIA BIO-REGENERATION EVENT

The Royal Society of Medicine

Neauvia hosted an exclusive afternoon at the Royal Society of Medicine, inviting clinicians to dive into the future of aesthetic practice and bio-regenerative technologies and Kezia was lucky enough to be the only journalist in attendance. The event featured live demonstrations, expert insights into the brand’s PEG-HA filler range, and innovative approaches to restoring facial volume and skin quality, particularly in patients experiencing GLP-1–induced weight loss.

A stellar KOL lineup, including Dr Steven Land, Emma Ross, and Dr Gabriela Bocsa, guided attendees through cutting-edge techniques, new treatment protocols, and the evolving science shaping the next era of aesthetic medicine.

Dr Bocsa delivered a standout presentation, showcasing a compelling GLP-1 volume-loss transformation case study that underscored the regenerative potential of Neauvia’s portfolio.

With lively debate around trending treatments such as polynucleotides, the event served as a valuable opportunity for innovation, networking, and clinical growth.

CHITOCARE DINNER

The Marylebone Hotel

Icelandic skincare brand ChitoCare celebrated its expansion into the UK, in partnership with skincare distributor, the ASKA Group, with an intimate and beautifully curated dinner at The Marylebone Hotel. Guests, including leading beauty journalists Alice Hart-Davis and Olivia Falcon, were treated to a lavish three-course meal and an introduction to the brand’s star ingredient, chitosan: a bioactive, marine-derived polymer prized for its wound-healing, antimicrobial and skin-repairing properties.

CEO and founder, Sigga Vigfúsdóttir, shared the brand’s Icelandic roots and the science behind ChitoCare’s formulation methods, offering guests a rare look into how sustainably sourced chitin from the North Atlantic becomes a high-performance skincare ingredient.

Aesthetic Medicine’s Kezia and Ellen attended for a night of networking, discovery, and unabashed geeking out over one of skincare’s most fascinating natural biomaterials.

DEVINE CLINIC OPENING

Cavendish Square, London

The long-awaited Devine Clinic has officially opened its doors in Cavendish Square, signalling an exciting new chapter for internationally recognised aesthetic doctor Dr Richard Devine.

Revered for his natural, refined aesthetic and exceptional precision, Dr Devine has built a reputation for results that enhance rather than alter. The new space reflects this ethos perfectly: a modern, light-filled clinic where architecture, design and medicine coexist. Guests including the iconic cosmetic dentist Dr Rhona Eskander, explored the conceptual journey behind the project including how even the logo was shaped around Dr Devine’s “less-is-more” philosophy. Clean lines, sculptural forms and a minimalist palette bring his signature subtlety into the physical environment.

The celebrations continued next door at Ackee, where cocktails, canapés and a Dubai-influenced DJ set kept the energy high well into the evening. The launch was supported by Medik8.

SERIDERM

Horizon 22, Bishopsgate

Back in November, Kezia and Lisa headed up to the spectacular Horizon 22 for the Seriderm celebration, an evening dedicated to innovation, partnership and the future of energy-based devices. The event marked Seriderm UK’s acquisition of Cynosure Lutronic, with champagne flowing as industry leaders gathered for a night of education and insight.

Expert speakers Mr Arash Moradzadeh, Mr Andrei Popa, Dr Saleena Zimri and Dr Emma Craythorne delivered thought-provoking presentations, covering advancements across both surgical and aesthetic modalities.

The evening also saw the introduction of Dr Priya Verma as a new Seriderm UK key opinion leader and the unveiling of Seriderm 360, an education-led initiative designed to support clinicians across the full spectrum of aesthetic practice.

Clinical director Kevin Williams closed the night by praising the event as an inspiring blend of expertise, collaboration and forward-looking innovation.
