Institute BCN

Spanish mesotherapy laboratory Institute BCN has launched a Tranexamic Acid solution, formulated to address hyperpigmentation during a mesotherapy treatment. It works to reduce dark spots caused by age, melasma, medications, sun and pollution; prevents and treats photo-ageing, reduces darkness in the under-eye area, reduces spots caused by acne, evens and lightens skin tone, brightens the skin and reduces the redness of blood vessels.

Murad

Cosmeceutical skincare brand Murad’s latest launch is Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial. The product contains three exfoliants – physical micro-mineral exfoliants to remove dead surface cells, enzymes to dissolve oil debris and dulling dead cells, and chemical exfoliants (glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids) – along with gold-stabilised pure L-ascorbic acid, vitamin C derivative tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and glutathione, which recycles vitamin C to extend its benefits in the skin. The product has a colour-changing formula to indicate sufficient physical exfoliation and even application.

SkinBetter Science

SunBetter Advanced Mineral Protection Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF50 Sunscreen Stick is a broad-spectrum SPF in an easy-toapply transparent formula. With 100% mineral, non-nano actives, a sheer, mattifying formula and 80-minute water resistance, the sunscreen also has a blurring, priming effect and protects against pollution, infrared and blue light. The active ingredients are 10% zinc oxide and 5% titanium dioxide.

Noon Aesthetics

New from Noon Aesthetics is Reform Eye Cream, a 5-in-1 eye cream targeting wrinkles and fine lines from free radicals and muscle contractions, as well as dark circles and puffiness. It contains the brand’s SYN-AKE technology to help relax facial muscles through blocking neuromuscular contraction, along with palmitoyl tripeptide 5 to stimulate collagen types one and two. Other ingredients include “new generation” vitamin C, algae complex, caffeine extract, organic coconut oil and chamomile.

Aethern

Liquid skin supplement Aethern has been reformulated with a natural grape flavour. Plus, the brand has introduced a dropshipping service whereby practitioners can have orders posted direct to patients, reducing the need for them to stock large amounts of product in clinic. Aethern’s FDA-approved formulation contains vitamins and trace minerals to help protect and regenerate skin at a deep cellular level. The high-bioavailability formula contains bioactive collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, organic silicon, pure astaxanthin and Mediterranean polyphenols.

iS Clinical

PerfecTint Powder SPF 40 is a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen in a weightless powder formula with a matte finish. Available in five shades and supplied with two refill cartridges, the powder contains 25% zinc oxide physical sunscreen, 5% hydroxyapatite to enhance protection as well as defending against photo-ageing, 1% lycopodium clavatum to help improve skin hydration levels, and 1% imperata cylindrica root extract, rich in potassium to reinforce collagen synthesis.

Revision Skincare

BodiFirm is the latest launch from US clinical skincare brand Revision. A body-contouring lotion for firmer and more toned-looking skin, the formula contains patent-pending iFirm technology to visibly tighten and lift sagging, crepey skin to sculpt and tone the arms, buttocks, abdomen and thighs. Other ingredients include caffeine for its antioxidant benefits and glucosamine to promote epidermal cell turnover to smooth and soften rough, dry skin.

Lynton

The laser and energy-based aesthetic devices manufacturer has introduced Focus Dual, a new radiofrequency-microneedling and high-intensity focused ultrasound device. Focus Dual is designed to remodel collagen, improve fine lines and wrinkles, tighten lax skin and help diminish scars, while leaving the skin’s surface intact. The RF microneedles and HIFU focal depths can be adjusted to target every layer – the SMAS, reticular dermis, papillary dermis and epidermis.
