TEOXANE SIGNATURE FACIAL FOR HYDRATION & SKIN QUALITY

Editor Kezia Parkins tried a signature Teoxane facial while visiting the home of the brand - Geneva, Switzerland.

THE LOWDOWN

During Teoxane’s press trip to Geneva, Switzerland, I got to experience one of the brand’s signature facials designed to boost hydration and enhance overall skin quality.

THE EXPERIENCE

If visiting Geneva with one of the world’s most prestigious filler brands wasn’t enough, I also managed to squeeze in some pampering between tours of the historic city and Teoxane’s innovative HQ. My skin needed it because even the conditions on a short flight can play havoc with hydration. It was feeling dry, tight, and uncomfortable.

After a day of learning how Teoxane creates its beloved hyaluronic acid (HA) injectables and exploring the science of “skin quality,” it was time to put theory into practice. My treatment took place at Hapiderm, a stunning clinic tucked away on a chic Geneva street.

I was greeted warmly by the staff in French, who didn’t scoff at my fumbling attempts to reply, before my therapist, Anaïs, guided me into a beautifully lit treatment room. Following a thorough consultation, Anaïs began with a double cleanse using Teoxane RHA Micellar Solution and AHA Cleansing Gel.

As one of the recognised leaders in HA-based fillers, Teoxane has channelled its expertise into its dermocosmetic range. These products feature the brand’s patented RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) – a form of HA engineered through a unique crosslinking technology that makes it more resistant to degradation, preserving its anti-ageing and hydrating power. RHA forms a porous, breathable film on the skin’s surface, attracting water into the epidermis for supreme, long-lasting hydration.

This is why I was especially excited for the next step: the new RHA® Hydra Mask, a deeply hydrating and plumping treatment designed to deliver moisture at every level. Luxurious and cooling, it felt like a drink of water for my skin as Anaïs applied it before setting me under an LED light to enhance absorption and collagen stimulation. After 10 minutes, she gently removed it. Even before looking in the mirror, my skin felt noticeably different… cool, supple, and refreshed.

Next came the facial massage, where things reached a whole new level. Hapiderm harnesses the traditional Japanese kobido technique, a form of facial massage dating back centuries that blends precise, rhythmic movements to stimulate lymphatic drainage, improve circulation, and tone facial muscles. The result is a lifted, sculpted effect. Anaïs combined this with RHA Serum, which delivers amino acids, antioxidants, and diosodium acetyl glucosamine phosphate (a natural HA precursor) to further revitalise and firm the skin.

To finish, she applied a moisturiser along with eye and lip care before sealing everything in with Teoxane Urban Shield SPF30 – a lightly tinted, non-caking sunscreen that left no cast on my skin, only a subtle glow.

THE VERDICT

Immediately after the treatment, I was amazed by the instant plumping effect. The combination of advanced formulas and expert massage left my skin bouncier, smoother, and visibly more radiant. Over the following weeks, I continued using the products at home because the glow and elasticity were genuinely addictive. Credit must go to Anaïs and her mastery of the kobido technique: not only did my skin look hydrated, but it also appeared more sculpted, something far harder to achieve with at-home routines.

BUSINESS BENEFITS

This facial is a smart addition for clinics and practitioners looking to expand their non-device treatment offerings. It relies on the sophisticated technology of Teoxane’s formulations rather than machinery, yet delivers instant, visible results that patients will want to maintain. The Teoxane skincare line also pairs beautifully with more intensive treatments like injectables, helping to prolong and enhance their effects. For clients, it’s a luxurious gateway into the world of medical-grade skincare, and for businesses, after this treatment, the products will sell themselves.
