GET TING READY FOR 40 WITH CROMA

Marketing director, Chloe Monina visited AM Aesthetics to try out Alexandra Mill’s celebrated natural tweakments

THE OBJECTIVE

As I approach the big 4-0, I have been wanting to make a few subtle tweakments to refresh my face.

My main concerns were the fine lines forming across my forehead and my lips, which I’ve always felt were a little too thin.

The frequency of video calls has made me more aware of these features, so I decided it was time for a gentle enhancement.

THE EXPERIENCE

AM Aesthetics has two London locations, and I visited the Light Centre in the heart of bustling Marylebone.

The space is modern, stylish, and strikes the perfect balance between high-end and welcoming.

I felt instantly reassured walking in, several colleagues had already given glowing reviews of Alexandra Mills, and from the moment she greeted me, her warmth and professionalism put me at ease.

Although this was my first experience with injectables to the forehead, Alexandra’s calm, confident manner quickly dispelled my nerves.

During our consultation, she carefully listened to my concerns and fully understood my wish for natural-looking results.

She explained that she could reduce the appearance of fine lines on my forehead and enhance my lips by improving symmetry and hydration.

After applying a numbing cream to my lips, I was ready to begin. The treatment itself was quick and virtually painless, just a few mild stings on the outer lip.

I could see an immediate improvement in my lips, and we agreed to start conservatively with 0.25ml of filler.

Two weeks later, at my review, we added another 0.25ml for the perfect finish.

To my surprise, after the second injection I experienced almost no bruising or swelling afterwards.

I followed Alexandra’s aftercare advice closely, including avoiding bending down or sun exposure and taking Arnica tablets, and had no complications.

She also gifted me a Croma Pure HA Hyaluronic Acid Liquid Face Mask to use at home.

From the very first application, my skin felt brighter and more hydrated. After four treatments, I noticed a visible glow and a reduction in the creases around my eyes.

VERDICT

I couldn’t be happier with my results. Alexandra completely understood my goal of achieving subtle enhancements and guided me through every step with care and expertise.

From start to finish, she was professional, reassuring, and precise – I knew my face was in safe hands.
