IMCAS WORLD CONGRES 2025

Palais des Congrès, Paris

This year’s annual congress, which took place from January 30 to February 1, featured cutting-edge symposia, networking opportunities, and groundbreaking product launches.

One of the major highlights of the event was the reveal of Relfydess, the first and only ready-to-use liquid neuromodulator developed using its innovative Pearl Technology. Designed to optimise activity and purity, the formulation ensures a highly active product containing only the essentials. In addition, Galderma demonstrated its leadership in injectable aesthetics within the realm of medication-driven weight loss with new research and the introduction of the first international consensus-based guidelines. The research confirmed that loose or sagging skin on the face and neck is commonly observed after medication-driven weight loss, with facial changes typically noted three to six months following treatment in 45% of respondents and as early as one to two months in 28% of cases. More than 60% of these patients expressed strong interest in a dual-expertise service that integrates both medical and aesthetic professionals to support them during their weight loss journey.

IBSA’s symposium on Profhilo Structura showcased advancements in adipose tissue restoration, while a second highlighting the transformative potential of Nahyco technology. Experts from around the world presented the latest clinical insights, demonstrating how Profhilo Structura is enhancing tissue quality and restoring volume with remarkable precision. A key highlight was the live injection session, allowing attendees to witness first-hand the product’s immediate and natural-looking effects. Delegates left not only understanding but also feeling and seeing the tangible results.

Among the other highly anticipated sessions was Sunekos’ symposium on January 31, where Dr Gloria Trocchi and Dr Marko Mance introduced an enhanced formula for skin renovation. This insightful discussion explored the latest advancements in skin revitalisation, equipping attendees with invaluable expertise on regenerative aesthetic solutions.

The congress also hosted the official launch of Harley Academy’s Global Evidence Matrix (GEM), the first standardised, evidence-based guide to injectable treatments for aesthetic medicine professionals. Speaking at the Prollenium Medical Technologies symposium, Harley Academy founder Dr Tristan Mehta outlined

GEM’s transformative role in driving product innovation, enhancing safety protocols, and reshaping training standards for the future of aesthetic medicine. From February 2025, Harley Academy will oversee the full rollout of GEM, empowering practitioners with this pioneering tool to elevate their practice, enhance learning, and reinforce patient safety.

The scientific and business programme was packed with sessions showcasing the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine. Highlight sessions focused on branding and success in the digital age, breast-plasty, new trends in hair restoration, photoprotection and damaged skin, controversies in cosmetic dermatology and ultrasonography safety. As always, attendees worked hard and partied harder. Harpar Grace International hosted an exclusive dinner at Pink Mamma on January 30, providing an intimate setting to connect with industry friends. On January 31, the AM team attended IBSA Derma’s networking aperitif at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Hotel before heading to The Bridge for the Skinceuticals Party, an elegant evening of celebration.

With a dynamic agenda filled with innovation, education, and some amazing networking opportunities, IMCAS Paris 2025 was an unmissable event for medical aesthetics professionals worldwide.
