The sector unites at Olympia London for Aesthetic Medicine London 2024
Aesthetic Medicine London returned to Olympia London on May 10-11, 2024, bringing 3,146 visitors together with some of the biggest brands in the industry.
Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the show featured exhibitors from across the industry, who were on hand to demonstrate the latest products and help delegates discover emerging trends, as well as leading education streams bringing practical education to life.
EXHIBITION
Exhibitors were delighted to see so many engaged professional visitors during the event.
Suzie Bourne, chief commercial officer UK and Ireland, Dermalux said, “The show’s been amazing. We’ve had a really busy time, and met lots of lovely customers and colleagues in the industry. We actually sold a device within two minutes of being on the stand on Friday!
“Actually, the leads have been really consistent. So, we’ve had some really good quality leads, which we’ll be following up next week, expecting to get lots of revenue back from the show, which is brilliant.”
When asked about the exhibition, KOL for DermapenWorld Andrew Handsford, which was the platinum sponsor of the injectables masterclasses, said “It’s been amazing, really buzzy. There’s been lots and lots of interest. I think needling is still a really big topic and there’s been lots and lots of information, lots of education, lots of really nice people coming up. It’s been great.”
“The show is excellent to launch new brands, because we know the main people coming will be clinic owners, as well as industry peers,” added chief executive officer of Cure Medical, Adam Bashir. “To launch our brand, we actually held out for the show, because I think it was the best way to launch and get the best visibility.”
Christine Slater, course advisor at Harley Academy, commented, “It’s been absolutely brilliant. We’ve had lots of people come to see us. I’ve spoke to a wide variety of medics, doctors, dentists, nurses, and we’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been great to see each and every one of you.”
EDUCATION
AM London also provided delegates with eight educational streams featuring industry-leading experts. The programmes included CPD-accredited injectables masterclasses, business seminars, the skin and body agenda, a live demo theatre and aesthetic symposiums. Professor Ali Ghanem also curated the Regenerative Medicine Conference, and the British Association of Hair Restoration Society (BAHRS) returned for its annual conference.
“This is a carnival of art, technology, as well as science, where a lot of the members of the multidisciplinary aesthetic team are coming together,” said Prof Ghanem. “We have the BAHRS. We have the Regenerative Aesthetics Symposium. We also have several laser and technology-based companies coming along with a parallel business in aesthetics and practice guidelines. It really is a place where I can find something for every member of the team in my clinic to come and benefit from.”
The best in aesthetics was also celebrated at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2024, held at Royal Lancaster London on May 11.
