3D AESTHETICS 3D EMLIFT CLINICAL TRIAL LAUNCH

The team from 3D Aesthetics hosted clinic and salon owners, as well as press including editor Anna Dobbie, at 41 Portland Place to announce the results of a clinical trial of its new 3D EMLift device. Dr Abs Settipalli, the doctor behind the trial, outlined the findings, which showed that a course of treatment with 3D EMLift gives significant improvement in skin firmness, muscle tone and wrinkles. Dr Jonquille Chantrey also presented at the event, sharing her personal experience using the device as part of a treatment programme in her clinic ØNE aesthetic studiø in Cheshire.

On April 16, members of the AM editorial team heard from Clinique’s global experts at the iconic London venue. Journalist Sali Hughes talked to dermatologist and vice president of skin physiology and pharmacology DrTom Mammone and senior vice president of product development Janet Pardo about the brand’s advancements in skin health. Attendees also had the chance to have their skin scanned and were prescribed their bespoke Clinique treatment plan.

Dr Ahmed El Muntasar hosted an informative press lunch on April 17 to discuss the science behind the polynucleotide treatment and look at case studies.
Attendees were also given the opportunity to trial the treatment; editor Anna Dobbie will write up her experience in a future issue of the magazine.
UK ALASTIN SKINCARE LAUNCH

Galderma hosted press at abreakfast launch event on April 22 for its new Alastin A-luminate Serum. Guests were greeted by members of the Galderma team, along with chief scientific officer for Alastin ProfessorAlan Widgerow, plastic surgeon and chief researcher at the Center forTissue Engineering in the US. Prof Widgerow gave an overview of the science he personally developed for the brand and how the new serum bolsters Alastin’s restorative skincare routine. On April 30, the brand hosted an intimate dinner at Sartoria, presented by Dr Sophie Shotter and DrJenny Doyle to celebrate the launch, as well as its partnership with GetHarley.
WIGMORE MEDICAL PRESENTS

The renowned two-day gathering returned on April 20-21, offering a packed agenda showcasing national and international experts delivering the latest education in aesthetics, as well as exploring future trends. Highlights included Dr Anna Hemming exploring how emerging new technologies can take aesthetic medicine to the next level, Dr Raj Thethi and Dr Emma Ravichandran looking at the middle-aged male face, and Dr Anjali Mahto and Dr Mary Sommerlad discussing the tyrosinase pathway and where other ingredients fit in pigmentation treatment. In the evening, guests were invited to kick back 80s style at a VIP-event at The Refinery with a live band.
CELLUTION UK LAUNCH

Deleo marked the launch of its new cellulite device in the UK with an evening of networking and education. Dr Rita Rakus offered her expert opinions, and guests were able to see the technology in action in a live demo.

Founder Eleanor Hartley welcomed guests to the launch of her new clinic in central London on April 19. She discussed her plans for the clinic, which include an expansion in the near future.

Dr Raj Thethi headed up an educational agenda from five speakers on May 14 looking at how clinicians can incorporate nitrogen plasma into their clinic. With live demos and inspirational case studies, attendees learned about the technology, and its benefits, history, indications, parameters, cases and combinations.

On May 9, Revitalash president and global chief marketing officer Lori Jacobus hosted afternoon tea for a select group of press, including contributing reporter Kezia Parkins. She discussed the brand’s emotional beginnings and the amazing causes that its profits go to, including breast cancer research.
ADVANCEMENTS IN HAIR LOSS TREATMENTS

Ouronyx and the D’Souza clinic hosted a press gathering on May 14 to talk about the newest treatments and innovations for hair loss. Attendees heard from Dr Marco Nicoloso and Mr Christopher D’Souza on the treatments they offer, and the field of hair restoration as a whole. Apatient also shared his experience with his surgery and ongoing treatments. After the table discussion, attendees were invited to have a scalp analysis to look at their own hair health.
BACN SPRING SYMPOSIUM

The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) held its annual Spring Symposium on April 19. This year’s agenda covered a range of topics, with a regenerative focus, including NAD+, PRP, and exosomes. The event also hosted an exhibition and networking space, where aesthetic nurses could speak to their peers and brands.

Image Skincare welcomed some of its loyal partners, and editorial assistant Erin Leybourne, on April 22 to celebrate its achievements throughout the year. After a short networking reception, the attendees sat down for a three-course lunch, interspersed with the presentation of a selection of awards. Image also launched its latest innovation, the Daily Prevention SPF range, and Dr Pradyna Apté shared her experience with the products, giving other stockists advice on the most successful treatments in her clinic so far.
AVICLEAR LAUNCH PARTY

Drs Tatiana and Rishi Mandavia hosted a group of patients and press on April 19 to offer insight into the new AviClear device from Cutera. The evening commenced with canapés and prosecco and gave attendees the opportunity to meet the doctors in a relaxed setting. They also gave a presentation on the acne device and shared some of the incredible results seen in the US, where the treatment originated.
NESCENS X HARRODS LUNCH
Studio Frantzén, Harrods Nescens Skincare celebrated the launch of its range into Harrods retail offering on April 17, alongside a customised facial care menu for the Hair and Beauty Salon. Attendees got to meet the Nescens team, including Professor Jacquest Proust, the mind behind the brand and a specialist in the biology of ageing. Founded in Switzerland over a decade ago, Nescens is known for its high-performance anti-ageing treatments.

Crown Aesthetics hosted a press breakfast, attended by editorial assistant Erin Leybourne, to share information about its Biojuve skin biome care range and discuss its benefits when combined with Skin Pen on May 3. Dr Sophie Shotter gave a detailed insight into Biojuve, showing the clinical evidence, alongside a selection of case studies that demonstrated the effectiveness of the products. Skin and beauty expert Nilam Holmes shared some data on the Skin Pen, with some of her own patient results.
