Endolift and Revanesse

THE LOWDOWN

I have a slight overbite, which means that my jawline appears weak, and I am prone to a double chin. To address this, the treatment comprised of two core stages. First, two sessions using the Endolift, three months apart. The Endolift is a minimally invasive laser-based treatment using Eufoton, an innovative laser LASEmaR 1500 certified and approved by the US FDA, to stimulate both deep and superficial layers of the skin to tighten and lift it, stimulating collagen production for a more youthful appearance. The wavelength of LASEmaR 1500 is specifically designed to selectively hit two of the main targets of the human body: water and fat. The device tightens and activates the skin’s production of new collagen, as well as stimulating the metabolic functions of the skin cells. The laser-induced selective heat also has the power to melt stubborn fat, which spills from microscopic entry holes in the treated area, and simultaneously causes immediate skin retraction. As a result, skin laxity is reduced, and skin will look tighter and immediately lifted. The second stage of the treatment involved the injection of 1ml of Revanesse Shape in the chin and 1ml of Revanesse Outline (0.5 ml each side) in the chin shadows to further strengthen the jawline. This aimed to enhance the chin’s contour and symmetry, providing a subtle yet noticeable improvement to facial aesthetics.

THE EXPERIENCE

The treatment started out with a consultation with Dr Nina Bal, who thoroughly assessed my facial structure and discussed my aesthetic goals. She then explained the stages she would take to achieve the desired result. A few weeks later, I returned to Tempus Belgravia for my first Endolift session (which was filmed for Dr Bal’s YouTube channel).

First an anaesthetic was injected to numb the skin, which was the most painful part of the treatment. When numb, Eufoton single-use micro-optical fibres, slightly thinner than a hair, were inserted under the skin directly in the superficial hypodermis, creating a micro-tunnel orientated along the anti-gravitational vectors. While passing through the dermis, these FTF micro-optical fibres act like an intradermal light path and transmit laser energy, offering immediate visible results. There was a slight sharp, sizzling pain, due to the laser energy creating micro-tunnels oriented along the anti-gravitational vectors. After the treatment, the fibres were removed and thrown away. I was instructed to wear a chin sling for the next 24 hours, as well as when sleeping the following two nights.

Three months after the second Endolift session, I returned to Tempus Belgravia for my Revanesse treatment. As a filler-virgin with underactive thyroid, Dr Bal put me at ease about the procedure, which was remarkably fast and virtually painless. Dr Bal carefully injected the filler into strategic points along my chin, ensuring precise placement for optimal results, while sculpting and refining the shape to achieve a harmonious balance with the rest of my facial features.

THE VERDICT

I am thrilled with the results. The Endolift sessions have noticeably tightened and lifted my skin, giving me a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance, while the chin filler has enhanced the contours of my face, providing a subtle yet impactful improvement to my profile. Dr Bal’s skillful technique and personalised approach have exceeded my expectations, and I feel more confident and refreshed than ever before. I attended an event the evening of my Revanesse treatment and, although I couldn’t wear foundation, I received a lot of compliments about my new defined side profile!
