The Aesthetic Medicine editorial board’s clinical expertise and diverse range of specialities help ensure the magazine meets the needs of the readers. In this issue, we have received guidance from the following members:

TRACEY DENNISON

Tracey Dennison is the consultant nurse practitioner at East Riding Aesthetics and Wellness, a multi-award-winning clinic which specialises in restorative and regenerative medical aesthetic treatments to give natural looking, confidence-boosting enhancements. Dennison has been nursing for over 30 years and is the Aesthetic Medicine Awards’ Nurse of the Year 2023.

DR STEVEN LAND

Dr Steven Land MBBS MRCEM is an aesthetic doctor with 10 years of experience in creating award-winning, natural results at his clinic, Novellus Aesthetics. His clinical foci are lip fillers, full face treatments and non-surgical rhinoplasties.

DR MAYONI GOONERATNE

Dr Mayoni Gooneratne is the founder and medical director of Human Health and SkinFit. A former NHS colorectal and pelvic floor surgeon, she realised how little women knew about their health, prompting her to create The Clinic by Dr Mayoni which allows her and her world-class team to deliver an upstream level of care.

DR ANNA HEMMING

Dr Anna Hemming is a fully qualified general practitioner and medical skin doctor with over 22 years of experience. She owns Thames Skin Clinic in Twickenham, which she founded in 2019. Dr Hemming has a background in anaesthetics and emergency medicine, serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps as a captain and spending seven years as a general practitioner at Buckingham Palace.

VANESSA BIRD

Vanessa Bird has worked for many leading distributors in aesthetics. She uses over a decade of industry experience, knowledge, and connections as The Aesthetic Consultant to understand the specific challenges faced by many successful, high-profile individuals and clinics as she helps them to succeed in the elite ‘top tier’.
