Education for all

With multiple streams covering everything from surgery, hair restoration and injectables to skin, body and business, the Aesthetic Medicine London 2024 education programme has something for everyone in the team

Now in its 10th year, the Aesthetic Medicine London (AML) educational programme has gone from strength to strength with multiple conference sessions spanning the two days.

Taking place on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Olympia London, the AML programme offers something for everyone in the multi-disciplinary team from plastic surgeons, aesthetic doctors, dermatologists and dentists to cosmetic nurses, hair restoration surgeons, trichologists, skin therapists and clinic owners.

As well as our medical-only two-day CPD-accredited Injectables Masterclasses, we have the Aesthetic Treatments and Technology Workshops (Friday only), the Aesthetic Regenerative Medicine conference (Saturday only), the Business Seminars in partnership with Success in Aesthetic Business (SIAB), the Skin and Body Agenda, the Live Demo Theatre, the Aesthetic Symposiums and, to top it off, we are proud to once again be hosting the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) meeting.

Featuring leading speakers from around the globe, our interactive conference format inspires discussion and audience participation to enhance the learning experience.

CPD-ACCREDITED MEDICAL-ONLY INJECTABLES MASTERCLASSES

One of the most significant benefits of attending AML 2024 is the opportunity to earn CPD points. AML is a CPD member, and our clinical injectables programme is CPDapplied for with up to 12 hours of education across two days.

Each 1.5-hour workshop will take a deep dive into subjects ranging from treating the mature patient to managing complications, injection techniques and innovations and pre-rejuvenation.

Speakers will include Dr Ioannis Liakas, Dr Vania Hiratsuka Dalmedo, Amy Bird, Dr Raj Thethi, Dr Bonny Armstrong, Dr Ahmed El Houssieny, Rosanne Joseph-Anthony, Dr Maryam Zamani, Miss Jennifer Doyle and Dr Steven Land.

Clinical live demos of injectable techniques will be provided by Prollenium, Galderma, Neauvia, RELIFE and Kysense. These sessions are for medics with membership to a Professional Registered Body only.

AESTHETIC TREATMENTS AND TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS (FRIDAY, MAY 10)

Led by Mr Ali Ghanem, this one-day agenda will include four masterclasses:

• The aesthetic surgeon’s approach to facial harmonisation with botulinum toxin

• Less is more? Combining soft tissue augmentation fillers and skin boosters for full face and neck rejuvenation

• Radiofrequency microneedling – My needle is better than yours; Industry experts jostle for their go-to RF/MN workhorse with blood, sweat and tears, or without?

REGENERATIVE MEDICINE CONFERENCE (SATURDAY, MAY 11)

Chaired and curated by Mr Ali Ghanem, this is Aesthetic Medicine’s sixth year hosting the Regenerative Medicine Conference. Over these years, the popularity of regenerative processes has grown exponentially, making it one of the key trends in the market at this time. With a focus on both surgical and nonsurgical aspects of regenerative medicine, the one-day agenda on Saturday, May 11 will feature topics including:

• Molecules and interventions in aesthetic regenerative medicine

• Polynucleotides: the building block for regenerative medicine

SKIN AND BODY AGENDA

With topics ranging from pigmentation, acne and device-based rejuvenation to treating skin through the ages, supporting vulnerable patients and enhancing aesthetic practice with functional and lifestyle medicine, our free-to-attend skin and body agenda is open to all practitioners within the aesthetic clinic team and includes no POMs or injectables.

Speakers will include Dr Raj Som, Dr Tatiana Mandavia, Dr Sindhu Siddiqi, Dr Mayoni Gooneratne and Tracey Dennison. Full programme coming soon.

LIVE DEMO THEATRE

One of the event’s key highlights is the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of devices and other non-surgical procedures. The Live Demo Theatre will feature free workshops provided by our exhibitors where attendees can learn about the latest techniques and approaches from some of the most experienced and respected professionals in the field.

BUSINESS SEMINARS

Brought to you in partnership with Success in Aesthetic Business (SIAB), our business seminars will cover topics ranging from discovering your purpose, goal mapping, video marketing and strategies and tips to help you create a successful launch in clinic to securing local press coverage, why a fantastic reception team means a fantastic business and why you should improve your communication skills to elevate your business.

Other highlights will include the running of a nurse-led clinic in the 2024 masterclass with Anna Baker and Julie Scott, the running of a doctor-lead clinic masterclass with Arturo Almeida, David, and Raj Thehti and a session on introducing regenerative medicine into your clinic with Laura Eccleston.

Other confirmed speakers include Simon Haroutunian, Chloe Gronow, Alex Bugg, Vanessa Bird, Alan Adams, Nicola Bowtell, Amanda Elbourn, Karen Sargent, Sonia Amerigo, Richard Gibbons, Tania Jarman, Taruna Chauhan, Russell Turner, Mark Bugg and Vicky Eldridge.

BAHRS CONFERENCE

Aesthetic Medicine is delighted to partner with the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) for their annual conference.

The two-day meeting will provide a fantastic educational opportunity by bringing together some of the UK’s best practitioners to discuss treatments, techniques and new products. While this event is a fantastic opportunity for professionals already practicing to augment their knowledge, the conference will also offer insight for delegates new to the hair loss and restoration field into what the best treatment options would be to get started with.
