Medica Forte

Medica Forte has launched a collection of glutathione-based cosmeceuticals, Glutaceuticals. It is a capsule collection of professional skincare, treatments, and home peels, designed to simplify skincare regimes while delivering amplified results. The star ingredient of all the products is glutathione, a tri-peptide which naturally occurs as the body’s primary mechanism to neutralise free radicals. Medica Forte is using the most potent form, L-glutathione, alongside a blend of 25 other carefully curated ingredients and acids. The combination of these aim to correct, protect, and perfect the skin, and preserve its texture, pigment, and lipids.

Lumenis

Lumenis is expanding its portfolio with the new Legend Pro+, a multi-modality platform with three powerful technologies based on radiofrequency (RF). Tripollar tightens the skin through controlled heating of the deep dermis. Voluderm creates controlled micro wounds to trigger the production of new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. Trifractional resurfaces and regenerates skin by applying contact RF at pinpoint ablation. All these technologies are furthered by the Legend Pro+’s new handpieces which can provide realtime temperature readings with in-motion millisecond precision. The device is also equipped with five electrodes and needle tips that differ in length and dimension to create the desired clinical effect.

Esse

Skincare brand Esse has drawn upon its 10 years of skin microbiome research to create a new pre- and post-treatment trio that helps improve the results of non-invasive skin procedures like microneedling, skin peels, and laser resurfacing. The Esse Pre-care Oil and Esse Activator improve the barrier function of the skin and boost the skin’s microbiome, by providing a tailored nutrient mix for the client’s skin and building compatibility for the post-treatment probiotics. The Esse Post-Care Oil protects the skin from potential pathogens and helps to reinstate barrier function as quickly as possible, locking in improvements from treatment.

Morphiya

Morphiya is a new brand, harnessing the potential of exosome technology for transformative skin renewal. Exomorphic Biotech combines young exosome messengers with liposomal transporters, to create an ‘Exomorph’ molecule. These molecules are programmed to target and remove old and damaged messenger cells and replace them with younger ones, resetting damaged cell behaviours. This biotechnology is combined with Morphiya’s 545 Complex, a blend of ingredients chosen to optimise the five key anti-ageing effects. Based on a clinical trial conducted by the company, the new product performs better than retinol, with skin regeneration improved by 98%, and fine lines reduced by 107%

Dermalogica

Dermalogica has launched two blemish-fighting products, one for the face, and one for the body. The Clear Start Clarifying Body Spray is a 360-degree continuous spray containing salicylic acid to help remove dead skin cells and soothing oils and witch hazel to reduce redness. The deep breakout liquid patch is a clear, sulphur-based solution, invisible to the skin that dries to form a semipermeable film barrier.

Lynton

Lynton has collaborated with DEKA to extend the benefits of the existing Motus AY laser device with the new Moveo technology. Four new handpieces include Moveo PL for pigmentation treatments, Moveo VL for vascular concerns, Moveo SR for skin rejuvenation, and Moveo HR for hair removal. The new technology moves swiftly in close contact with skin, as opposed to single spot stamping techniques, eliminating wasted and scattered energy, and allowing the device to work at 100% efficiency. This technique creates lasting results and can reduce large areas of pigmented lesions on the face and body.

4T Medical

4T Medical is introducing the new Cebelia hair growth range, consisting of two new products: Soothing Lotion and Anti-Hair Loss Lotion. Designed to enhance hair loss procedures, the topical products have a new approach to tackling thinning hair based on improving hair follicle anchorage. Ideal for use immediately post hair transplants, plasma-rich platelets (PRP) and micro-needling, the Soothing Lotion has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, while the Anti-Hair Loss Lotion is a daily leave-in product that improves hair growth and prevents hair loss. Both formulations include Cebeline, a patented peptide which has been shown to promote healing and stimulate tissue regeneration.

Opatra

Optra has released Spark, a new diode laser for hair removal. The laser is equipped with an ergonomic applicator, designed for long hours of use, greatly reducing fatigue. The applicator has five changeable tips, allowing for different spot sizes. This is a cost-effective way to allow full-body hair removal, and also saves space, eliminating a need for multiple handpieces. The device has a 30 million shot lifetime and a collimating lens design that creates a smaller divergence angle for better penetration and result.

Croma-Pharma

Croma-Pharma has launched a new topical local anaesthetic, Pliaglis, in the UK and Ireland. Specifically designed and licensed for anaesthetic needs in aesthetic medicine, Pliaglis complements Croma’s range of aesthetic injectables, to protect the patient and significantly reduce pain from minimally invasive procedures. Formulated with lidocaine and tetracaine, the local anaesthesia can start as early as 30 minutes after application, with a duration of up to 13 hours. While lidocaine penetrates the epidermal skin layer and grants a quick onset to efficacy, tetracaine penetrates the dermal skin layer and allows for a prolonged duration of effect.

Leo Hyper Pulse

Laser and Aesthetics are introducing Leonardo-Tech into the UK market. The Leo Hyper Pulse Masterlight system offers a patented technology based on accumulative light torrent (ALT), providing five powerful light flashes in one second. This technology alongside different wavelengths of light allows the treatment of a variety of conditions in a safe and effective way, including skin tightening and rejuvenation, pigmentation, anti-ageing and acne.
