DR AAMER KHAN

Dr Aamer Khan, leading expert in cosmetic and non-surgical procedures, graduated from The University of Birmingham in 1986, Dr Khan has knowledge in diverse areas including Human Psychology, Psychiatry, Surgery and Dermatology so decided to become a full-time Cosmetic Doctor in 2005 because of his love for aesthetic treatments. Dr Khan is a leading expert on regenerative medicine and has published a book on the subject, “Regenerative Medicine in Aesthetic Treatments”.

The area of regenerative medicine and cellular regeneration in aesthetics is an important and fast-growing speciality. There has been a great amount of excitement and confusion about the use of autologous tissue transfer. Several treatment modalities have been developed, ranging from PRP and autologous to mesenchymal stem cell transfers.

The biggest challenge has been the reliability of the technology, the outcomes and the ease of use, along with the changing regulatory landscape concerning human tissue handling and patient safety.

The use of fat transfer to the face and body is well established and the benefits and risks are now well known. The knowledge and the technology relating to autologous fat transfer and preparation of adipose, derived from strong vascular fractions and stem cells have developed over the past 20 years.

Rosmetics’ courses are designed to provide background education and knowledge about the role of fat, nano and micro grafting, and practical instructions on how to safely use the best and most up-to-date technology to achieve consistent and reliable outcomes. We shall also include the safety factor of ultrasound during the technique. These will be followed by experiential, one-on-one training and observed case studies carried out by each candidate.

The areas of application for this technology include facial aesthetics and hair regeneration, maxillofacial surgery and reconstruction, body, sculpting, skin rejuvenation and wound healing, spinal surgery, genitourinary surgery and rejuvenation, orthopaedics, plastic and reconstructive surgery and pain control for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. Our training courses will start in October 2023 and will take place in Harley Street, London. The product range we shall be using will be BEAUTY-STEM DUO™, an all-in-one system that processes, purifies, micro-fragments and extracts lipoaspirate within one device, processing up to 400 ml of adipose tissue in 10 minutes. Compared to centrifugation this allows for saving time and related costs and Beauty Stem returns 85% of extracted fat ready to be used. The entire processing phase of the lipo-suctioned tissue occurs inside the device as a result of continuous saline solution washing eliminating all the oil and blood residues which might cause inflammation of the treated tissues. This allows the reduction of stress on cells, eliminating any traumatic action that may damage the extracellular matrix and its essential trophic and antiinflammatory function. The collection and processing bag purifies the drawn tissue preserving its biological properties and maximising its regenerative potential. The end product is a compound and purified micro-fragmented autologous adipose tissue that keeps the biological properties of the original tissue intact. The whole extracellular matrix acts as a natural structure for the cells, increasing their vitality and contributing to the natural tissue.

Further information will be available in our fat transfer webinar at 11am on October 2, 2023. For further information please contact info@rosmetics.co.uk or call 0345 5050601 option 4.
