HYDRAFACIAL X JLO BEAUTY DANCE WORKOUT

Base Studios, London

In celebration of Hydrafacial’s new JLO Beauty Booster, the PB group editorial team went down to Base Studios to get “On the Floor” and #GlowWithConfidence with an empowering JLo-inspired dance workout, led by former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse. The morning event started with a warmup before learning the dance routine, and then finished with a post-workout breakfast where attendees were booked in for JLO Beauty Booster treatments later in the month.

COSMEDITECH’S LICENSE TO CHILL TARGETCOOL LAUNCH

Nobu Hotel, London

AM’s editorial team were invited on a secret mission to learn about Cosmeditech’s new Targetcool device. Creator Dr Young Seob Lee gave a clinical presentation about the device’s applications, and special agent KOLs Dr Tapan Patel, Dr Sabrina Shah-Desai and Dr James Olding were on hand to discuss their experiences with the new bit of kit. With so many fun Bond-themed activities, it was one not to miss. Even Blofeld was there, with his cat!

THÉRAPIE CLINIC X CYNOSURE BREAKFAST

St Martins Lane Hotel, London

At an intimate press breakfast event, editor Anna Dobbie was introduced to Potenza at Thérapie Clinic’s newly appointed brand ambassador, Denise Van Outen. Cynosure clinical trainer Krishna Sonagra hosted the event, focussing on the clinic chain launching Cynosure’s Potenza treatments, which combine radiofrequency and micro-needling, into their UK and Ireland branches.

With 463 Hyaluronic Acid fillers on the market, Dr Lisa Dinley revealed the results of a ground-breaking clinical study over an intimate breakfast with members of the press, including editor Anna Dobbie and contributing reporter Becki Murray.

SECRET AESTHETICS LAUNCH DINNER

Fortnum and Mason, London

Editorial assistant Erin Leybourne was invited to celebrate the launch of Secret Aesthetics in Harvey Nichols, Birmingham. The intimate dinner was held in The Crypt, and guests got to speak to Dr Zoya about opening the clinic, transparency in aesthetics, and her charity work.

MY POWER BRUNCHES

Editor Anna Dobbie attended two power brunch events to promote the MaiLi My Power campaign, which says no to judgement, in support of women everywhere. Informative panels saw industry stars including Dr Sabika Karim, Dr Ahmed El Muntasar and Dr Sheila Nguyen discuss the results of a global survey on women’s self-image with well-known faces like presenter Jenny Powell and Beauty Triangle’s Francesca Oberman-White.

3D MEDISPA LAUNCH

Champneys Tring, Hertfordshire

Select press, including PB Group’s head of editorial Eve Oxberry, were invited to the VIP launch for 3D Aesthetics’ Medispa at Champneys Tring. Guests were treated to lunch at Champneys’ New Lief restaurant, treatments in the new facility and dinner cohosted by singer Peter Andre and managing director Roy Cowley.

DERMALOGICA BREAKFAST

Dermalogica head office, Leatherhead

The AM team went on a road trip to Dermalogica’s Surrey head office. Dr Angela Murphy, vice president of technology, showcased unseen professional launches designed to elevate services in the treatment room. There were demonstrations of new peel launches and retail innovations, as well as insights into Dermalogica’s internal level 4 and 5 upskilling programmes.

AMEELA SKIN LAUNCH BREAKFAST

22 Grosvenor Square, London

Editor Anna Dobbie heard from Dr Nina Bal, Dr Marwa Ali and Amedica founder Linn Emilie about the rise of polynucleotides in the aesthetics industry and how Ameela fits into the current market.

BBL HERO X MOXI: THE PERFECT MATCH EVENT

The Clinic by Maryam Zamani, London

Dr Maryam Zamani hosted members of the press, including editor Anna Dobbie, at her Chelsea clinic to discuss how new light and laser combination treatments are changing the face of tweakments. She also introduced some of the Sciton team and led demonstrations of the BBL Hero and Moxi lasers.
