OUT & ABOUT

IMCAS WORLD CONGRESS, PARIS

Palais des Congrès de Paris

Editor Kezia Parkins, along with sales directors Lisa Morrin and Ian Archbold, attended IMCAS for a few action-packed days of networking, learning about the top trends in aesthetics for 2026 from global experts and rubbing shoulders with industry faves at swanky events.

We were invited to so many that we roped in former editor Anna Dobbie to help us, who covered Dermapen World’s stunning event at the Eiffel Tower. A highlights was the SkinCeuticals Gala; a stunning cocktail evening at the iconic Le Solum club.

As always IMCAS was a stand-out event, bringing together the most innovative brands in our sector from around the world.

ESK LAUNCH DINNER

The Bulgari Hotel

Kezia was invited to join ESK for the launch of their exciting new product Enlighten Gold. As well as joining founders Dr Ginni Mansberg and Daniel Rubinstein for a delicious 3 course meal alongside other industry leading journalists, Kezia was also invited to join a panel focused on the impact of hyperpigmentation on patients with skin of colour.

Rubinstein posed important questions to the panel which included the wonderful Dr Mansberg herself and Dr Kai Rajeswaren, expert in skin of colour and hyperpigmentation.

DERMAPEN VALENTINE’S BALL

Savoy Hotel

Held at the illustrious Savoy Hotel, located in the heart of London, Dermapen World hosted its annual enchanting Valentine’s Ball to unveil the brand’s latest innovations.

After some wonderful entertainment by way of a string quartet and an opera battle between a French and Italian waiter, guests enjoyed an extravagant three-course dinner and emotive presentations from Country Director Kelly Tobin, Global Education Ambassador Andrew Hansford, who revealed the new offerings, including the DP Synergist, a fully customisable multi-technology device and the Exo Grow LED Laser Cap.

Insightful presentations were also delivered by global KOLs Dr Olha Vorodyukhina and Dr Bilal Malik.

KP PHARMA

We Work, City of London

Connie and Lisa visited KP Pharma’s business showcase, where prospective professionals had the opportunity to test and enquire about KP Pharma’s services. It was lovely to see the team and discuss the various aspects they were promoting – we even had the opportunity to try out the point of care test. The test was extremely simple, and within less than 15 minutes, the results were available, making it a fast and efficient diagnostic tool for clinics.

MARINI SKIN SOLUTIONS

Wimpole Street, London

Back in January, Lisa attended an intimate industry gathering on Wimpole Street to discover how the latest innovations from Marini Skin Solutions (formerly known as Jan Marini) are being used to combat a wide range of common skin concerns.

The session explored how each product within the portfolio can be tailored to target a range of skin conditions. Attendees were also introduced to the recently launched NeuroSmooth, a topical solution formulated with neuromodulating peptides and collagen stimulators. Designed to reduce the appearance of pores and refine skin texture.

Live demonstrations and case discussions highlighted how NeuroSmooth can be integrated into both pre-and post-procedure protocols.

CLINICAL TRAINING SESSION WITH AQ SOLUTIONS

EF Medispa, Chelsea

On Monday, 26 January, Connie visited EF Medispa’s King’s Road location for a clinical training day with the founder of AQ Solutions, Dr Ahmed Al-Qahtan. Upon arrival, before the training sessions began, there was an opportunity to try out Cotex’s DermaLab Aesthetics, a clinical skin examination device. Smart Group is the distributor for both Cortex and AQ solutions in the UK. Dr Al-Qahtan’s first demonstration was for his prodefine skin boosters, followed by a dermastamping demonstration, combined with growth factor therapy to support healing and results. The session was insightful for practitioners looking to elevate their treatment protocols. The morning was finished off with an opportunity to network with Dr Al-Qahtan and industry professionals, with an added bonus of champagne and sushi.

AESTHETIC ALCHEMY, BCAM X UNTIL

Brother Marcus, Canary Wharf

The British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) and UNTIL hosted an educational evening with discussions from Julie Scott, Dr Mayoni Gooneratne, and Dr Stephanie Damalis. Held just outside Brother Marcus in Canary Wharf, professionals gathered for three discussions with inspiring BCAM professionals. The first talk, from Julie Scott, delved into the consultation process, understanding, and managing different patient archetypes. Dr Gooneratne delved into integrative aesthetics, sharing a clinic-friendly framework linking hormones, metabolism, and skin outcomes. Finally, Dr Stephanie Damalis discussed the ever-relevant topic of supplements, looking into the gut-liver axis.

AM AESTHETICS LASER LAUNCH

The Diamond Lab, Bond Street

We headed down to The Diamond Lab for Alex Mills’ latest laser launch. Held in the gorgeous diamond store in the heart of London, the evening began with a chance to network with a range of industry professionals. Later in the evening, Alex gathered her guests to share her exciting news that she will be the first aesthetic nurse in the UK to introduce Inmode’s Morpheus 8 Burst and Lumecca.

MENOPAUSE IN PRACTICE

De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms

We joined industry professionals at Menopause in Practice. Menopause in Practice is an annual event filled with discussions and an education centering on women’s health and wellbeing throughout all the stages of the menopause. Throughout the day in the conference room, industry professionals and advocates led discussions surrounding how to deliver exceptional patient care. In the Grand Hall, guests could speak to a selection of amazing brands. We loved catching up with some amazing brands, hearing about their newest launches, and importantly learning more about their services and devices supporting women through the menopause.
