The Ardour Clinic invited guests, including editor Anna Dobbie, to celebrate, educate and rejuvenate, as well as enjoy a bespoke mini treatment. Accompanied by a delicious grazing board and champagne, attendees had the opportunity to meet the co-founders, and learn more about The Ardour’s unique positioning. “The overwhelming support and enthusiasm from everyone who attended reaffirmed our mission to provide a 360-degree approach to health and beauty, where external aesthetics meet internal wellbeing and life fulfilment,” said founder Dr Paris Acharya. “We couldn’t have asked for a better evening to kickstart our journey in Marylebone, and we’re both so excited to welcome everyone into our new world.“

AN EVENING WITH REVISION SKINCARE

Fortune Room, Covent Garden

Anna Dobbie was invited by AestheticSource for drinks and canapes followed by a panel with Dr Alisar Zahr, Lorna Bowes and Dr Sophie Shotter to launch Revision Skincare’s new CMT Post Procedure Cream. Designed to help skin recover better following chemical peels, microneedling, and laser treatments, the cream works to regenerate the epidermal barrier, reducing inflammatory reactions and allowing the skin to recover faster.

DEFY YOUR DECADE EVENT

The Ghanem Clinic, Upper Wimpole Street

On June 26, Professor Ali Ghanem launched the “Defy your Decade” programme, which looks at your skin’s needs in your 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s and recommends treatments from non-invasive skin peels and laser technology, all the way to something a little more extreme.

DR NINA BAL FACIAL SCULPTING LAUNCH

Dr Nina Bal previewed her new London clinic to the press at a launch event with VIP patients Katherine Ryan and Cherry Healey. The clinic, which opened its doors at the beginning of July, offers a unique blend of personalised care and cutting-edge treatments, firmly rooted in Dr Bal’s distinctive perspective on aesthetics. To celebrate the launch, the AM editorial team joined her at an intimate party at Hideaway Bar in Sloane Place with a three-tiered cake and plenty of champagne.

UNLOCKING AESTHETIC EXCELLENCE

Candela Medical recently held a workshop at the Marker Hotel in Dublin which aimed to foster shared learning among medical aesthetic practitioners. The workshop was led by the esteemed Prof Firas Al Niaimi, who focused on cutting-edge aesthetic techniques and technologies. He shared valuable insights and tips from his extensive experience, emphasising the importance of achieving optimal outcomes for patients.

The international conference and exhibition returned on July 12-13, with the aim of bridging the gap between the current level of academic training and the constant advances in the fields of aesthetics and dermatology. With four agendas across advanced injectables, multispeciality aesthetics, an open stage and industry workshops, and eight topics, attendees had plenty of education and networking opportunities across the two day event.

JANE IREDALE X GET HARLEY EVENT

The Ivy Chelsea Garden, London

Editorial assistant Michelle Duffield attended the first Jane Iredale and Get Harley collaboration event to hear about how mineral makeup brand Jane Iredale can help clients who have had a beauty or aesthetic procedure. Attendees watched a demonstration of how to apply the brand’s skincare makeup system, including the Pure Pressed Base Mineral Foundation and Pommist Hydration Spray, and got colour matched for their own foundation.

CYNOSURE BEAUTIFULLY BARE

On June 20, Tatler Beauty editor Francesca Ogiermann-White hosted a panel consisting of Dr Ali Ghanem, celebrity makeup artist Emma White-Turle and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! winner Georgia Toffolo to discuss beauty trends and industry insights.

INMODE LAUNCH EVENTS

Driftwoods, Thames

Editor Anna Dobbie visited The Door W4 on July 5 to receive the brand new InMode Lift protocol and meet the KOLs for the device, Dr Vincent Wong and Dr Dev Patel. On July 12, guests embarked on a voyage of discovery and experienced panoramic views of some of London’s most iconic spots as InMode unveiled the new Ignite RF, new Quantum Technologies and new Morpheus 8 burst technologies.

VIP ICOONE SPA DAY

Medispa 28, Stafford

The Icoone spa day introduced press to the brand and allowed them to have the opportunity to experience a full treatment in a relaxing setting. Guests had an enjoyable day in Medi Spa 28 with access to full spa facilities such as sauna, pool, and steam room.

JETPEEL LAUNCH

Home House, London

On June 18, Anna Dobbie was invited to a champagne reception for the launch of Eden Aesthetics’ JetPeel device. Attendees heard from KOL Dr Nisha Menon about how she has incorporated the new device into her practice, and managing director Lindsay Gray presented industry favourite Jenny Pabila with a surprise birthday cake and song.

NURSES NETWORK EVENT

Aesthetics Solutions, Ipswich

Nurses and practitioners from all over the UK gathered for an intimate meeting to learn about upcoming devices and advice to benefit the industry. MC Dipa Sudra kept the audience engaged and informed in between each presentation, while maintaining the ambience of a gathering of friends, to learn, bond and catch up over homemade curry.

BBL HEROIC LAUNCH

Westin London City, Upper Thames Street

On July 11, medical and aesthetic laser and light manfacturers Sciton unveiled the BBL Heroic in the UK, which incorporates Intelligent Control and the unique Skin Positioning System. Intelligent Control acts as the ‘brain’ of the system, skilfully processing 3D spatial data for precise, automated pulse delivery. This innovation, alongside the new autodynamic pulse function, adapts to the operator’s speed, dramatically reducing whole-body treatment times while ensuring consistent results from treatment to treatment.

Nestled in the charming countryside, Lound Hall hosted both Gelida and DermaFocus for an afternoon of presentations, device unveilings, treatment trials and the most exquisite cupcakes. For their first event together, this collaboration proved them to be a very dynamic duo.

ALASTIN LAUNCH

Frameless, Marble Arch

On June 24, Galderma hosted a launch party within the walls of Londons’ Frameless Immersive Art Experience. Projections of the brand and its new product filled the walls around guests as they listened to key speakers such as Dr Sabrina Fabi, Dr Tapan Patel and Dr Sophie Shotter guide them through the innovation of the Alastin skincare collection.

Editor Anna Dobbie enjoyed a content-rich session on August 6 to decode the complexities of SPF and the importance of the Fitzpatrick skin phototype spectrum when selecting and formulating a sunscreen over delicious food and drinks.

Promoitalia presented a symposium exploring cutting edge solutions in aesthetic medicine, including the most innovative Italian trends. A panel of experts shared the latest updates on product releases and there was the opportunity to network with leading companies and medical professionals in the UK industry.

On June 14, editorial assistant Michelle Duffield attended the Neostrata European Summer Symposium 2024. Joined by industry experts such as Prof Beth Briden, Dr Sophie Shotter, Dr Amiee Vyas, the day was filled with talks, education and workshops, and was a grand opportunity to network and learn about the latest skin care trends.

DR RASHA CLINIC LAUNCH

Anna Dobbie celebrated the opening of Dr Rasha RakhshaniMoghadam’s three-story clinic on July 11. The new clinic reflects Dr Rakhshani-Moghadam’s love of the arts, meticulous attention to detail, blending timeless luxury with high-end, reliable treatments in facial aesthetics and skincare.
