Treatment review: SERENITY AND STRENGTH HOLISTIC STRESS MASTERY

Editor Anna Dobbie visits Anna Miller at Ardour Clinic to target her stress

THE LOWDOWN

This carefully crafted package presents a comprehensive approach to stress management, seamlessly blending personalised aesthetic treatments with expert life coaching to relieve the physical manifestations of stress while simultaneously addressing and tackling the underlying origins. The package is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals, following a 45-minute consultation.

THE EXPERIENCE

Following an initial consultation with both Dr Paris Acharya and Anna Miller, it was decided that I would benefit from stress counselling with registered nurse and life coach Miller, before a bespoke facial. When I returned, I sat with Miller for around an hour, to discuss ways in which she felt we could approach the stressors I had mentioned in the consultation. She considered my priorities and suggested manageable takeaway points to achieve my goals that would fit with my current lifestyle.

The next step was a bespoke facial, a truly unique experience tailored on the day to my specific skin concerns. We used a 3D Hydr02 with seven key technologies from hydra-dermabrasion to vibrational cleansing, radiofrequency, iontophoresis, hot and cold plates, ultrasound and light therapy to leave my skin healthier, brighter and plumper.

THE VERDICT

I have ADHD and have felt myself mentally struggling recently to prioritise tasks without feeling overwhelmed. Being able to isolate areas that need attention and create manageable, actionable steps, such as diarising ‘me time’ and exercise, and buying a nice cup to encourage regular hydration, was helpful. I left feeling more empowered and in control. Several weeks later, I am still regularly attending a scheduled boxercise class and drinking much more water. The following facial, aside from making my skin look fantastic, allowed me to process and reflect on the takeaways from the consultation in a safe and relaxing environment.

BUSINESS BENEFITS

Wellness has been a trend for a while in aesthetics and incorporating treatments into your clinic offering makes good business sense. By combining a consultation with a facial or aesthetic treatments, you can address the underlying cause of the patient’s issue, as well as its external manifestation, treating them inside and out.
