The Aesthetic Medicine editorial board’s clinical expertise and diverse range of specialities help ensure the magazine meets the needs of the readers. In this issue, we have received guidance from the following members:
MR TUNC TIRYAKI
Mr Tunc Tiryaki is a consultant plastic surgeon, renowned for his work in facial regeneration, where he was one of the first surgeons to use fat-derived stem cells in mini facelift procedures. He is chair of the Humanitarian Programs of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and founder of ISAPS-LEAP Surgical ReliefTeams that conduct volunteer reconstructive surgery operations all around the world.
DR SHIRIN LAKHANI
Dr Shirin Lakhani is an aesthetic doctor specialising in advanced facial aesthetics, skin health and wellness. In addition to consulting on the full range of aesthetic treatments, Dr Lakhani has specialist expertise in the areas of intimate health and hormone replacement therapy for both men and women. She is a significant voice of authority within the intimate health space, speaking widely on HRT, menopause, incontinence, and intimate health.
MR ALI GHANEM
MrAli Ghanem is aconsultant aesthetic plastic surgeon and clinical senior lecturer in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, as well as visiting professor and head of department of Aesthetic Medicine at the College of Medicine and Dentistry, Ulster University. He is qualified in Medical Law and Ethics, Surgical Science and Developmental and Stem Cell Biology.
MISS JENNIFER DOYLE
Miss Jennifer Doyle is aconsultant oculoplastic surgeon and founder ofThe Clinic Holland Park. She works part-time within the NHS as aconsultant at Milton Keynes University Hospital. She combines her knowledge of ophthalmic surgery with akeen eye for aesthetics, to achieve natural yet effective aesthetic outcomes for her patients. She is akey opinion leader for Sciton, Sofwave, Ameela and Skinstorm.
VANESSA BIRD
Vanessa Bird has worked for many leading distributors in aesthetics. She uses over a decade of industry experience, knowledge, and connections as The Aesthetic Consultant to understand the specific challenges faced by many successful, high-profile individuals and clinics as she helps them to succeed in the elite ‘top tier’.
