Alma

The new Alma Hybrid is a device poised to offer transformational results for scar treatment and advanced skin rejuvenation. The device uses a 70W CO2 laser integrated with a 1570nm laser in one applicator, to optimise ablation and minimise thermal damage to surrounding tissue. The transepidermal ultrasound technology enhances the delivery of topicals, maximising results and minimising recovery time by helping active ingredients work deeply in the skin. Also integrated into the device is Alma’s Hygrid tech, which uses a single scanner to weave lasers into the ideal pattern for patients’ skin.

Epionce

Just in time for the sunny season, Epionce skincare has unveiled a new mineral sunscreen, providing multifaceted protection against the signs of ageing. Sensitive Defense Sheer defends against UV, blue light damage and environmental stressors. Its lightweight, sheer formulation blends and quickly absorbs into skin, without leaving behind a greasy residue or white cast, imparting a sheer finish to the skin. The product is noncomedogenic, paraben-free and fragrance-free to reduce stress to the skin.

Heathxchange

Healthxchange has released a new skin analysis technology, the Observ 520x. Taking advantage of the unique visible light emitted by human skin cells, Observ identifies the unique colours and patterns that become fluorescent when exposed to true UV light. The clarity of Observ’s camera is able to pinpoint any skin woes within the epidermis or some that reside deeper. Textural topography, pigmentation, microrelief, vascularity, volume loss, UV damage and more are uncovered with exclusive fluorescence technology that captures and examines skin’s health on a multidimensional level.

Image Skincare

Daily Prevention is a new SPF range from Image Skincare, which uses a patent pending XOSM delivery system, encapsulating technology that enhances the power of the antioxidants ectoin, vitamin C, and micro-algae. The products provide comprehensive nourishment along with the prevention of skin ageing caused by exposure to the sun. Daily Prevention consists of six formulations of SPF 30 and SPF 50, with individual uses for each product. All products are formulated to avoid a white cast, and there is a tinted moisturiser variety of the SPF 30 to even out skin tone.

Nescens

Nescens’ research team has developed the 360° Complex, a multi-protection day cream acting as an active defence sphere against environmental and lifestyle factors that affect the skin. The cream uses a dispersion of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to achieve SPF 30 sun protection, along with a unique combination of tara tannins, antioxidants, and an extract of young sunflower sprouts, to limit the ageing effects of oxidising agents. The product also protects against hyperpigmentation and climatic stress, and supports the skin barrier.

Novus Medical

Sylfirm X is an FDA-approved dual wave radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment. Differing from traditional microneedling that creates micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s healing responses, Sylfirm X incorporates reactive oxygen species (ROS), regulating technology to treat issues beyond the usual scope of basic microneedling. The dual wave RF technology adjusts to the depth of penetration and the intensity of the RF energy, making it a versatile tool, suitable for different skin layers and concerns.

Sciton

BBL Heroic is the newest standard in pulsed-light technology from Sciton. The device integrates an assortment of new technologies to ensure optimal results for patients. To improve accuracy of treatment, an integrated motion sensor-tracking function provides real-time, 3D spatial information about the hand-piece’s position and orientation, alongside an automated pulse feature within the hand-piece itself, to facilitate uniform treatments on all surfaces of the skin. Intelligent control (IC) is the brain behind this data, allowing the different parts of the machine to work in synergy.

Zenii

Zenii has launched an intelligent collagen supplement called Zenii Fusion Collagen Creamer. The product is a vanilla powder supplement, the first collagen creamer to not only contain 10,000mg of clinical grade marine collagen, but to also contain a powerful formulation of 150mg hyaluronic acid, anti-ageing molecule MSM, vitamins C, B and D, magnesium, zinc, copper, silica and more. Clinical evidence advocates that the presence of vitamin C, magnesium, and vitamin A aids in the effectiveness of collagen supplementation for health and aesthetics.

ZO Skin Health

Formulated for a range of skin types, the Complexion Clarifying Serum from ZO Skin Health is water-based and engineered to smooth the complexion. The product contains three key ingredients to help clear and soothe skin. The ZO sebum-targeting complex contains rosa canina, eugenia uniflora leaf, syringa vulgaris extracts to minimise excess surface sebum and promote a balanced microbiome for an ongoing clear, shine-free complexion. Water-soluble salicylic acid decongests skin and refines the look of pores. Exclusive plant stem cell and polysaccharide complexes ZO-RRS2 and ZPOLYTM soothe visible redness and infuse light, barrier-strengthening hydration.
