ESK Skincare

ESK Skincare is bringing the Aussie glow over to the UK. Its range is created by Australian doctors, dermatologists, and scientists, boasting a simple philosophy of evidence and integrity. The range is cruelty-free and kind, from the creation process through to the skin. Clinically-backed ingredients have been carefully chosen for their effectiveness in protecting, nourishing, targeting, and repairing signs of ageing, acne, and rosacea, and managing sensitive skin. Hero products launching in the UK include ‘Enlighten’, a tyrosinase inhibitor to fade pigmentation and age spots, along with ESK’s Ultimate A products.

Skin Bureau

Skin Bureau’s skincare range combines potent cannabinoids and high-strength anti-ageing actives. Its star ingredient is CBG, the precursor to CBD, which has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and skin healthboosting properties. The Youth Boosting Body Souffle, one of five formulas in the range, is a luxurious body cream, formulated to provide all-day hydration while protecting skin against a range of damaging factors, like blue light, environmental stressors, irritation, and blemishes. The range, designed for those seeking a low-maintenance routine with impactful results and benefits to the skin, is vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the UK.

DermaFocus

Unique polynucleotide-based Newest is the latest product to be introduced by distributor DermaFocus. Created by Italian manufacturer Mastelli, it can be used on the face, neck, and decolletage to treat acne, scarring, skin damage and ageing. By combining highly purified polynucleotide technology (known as PN-HPT®) with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and mannitol, the ingredients have the power to regenerate fibroblasts, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. One study showed a 39.6% improvement in skin elasticity after three treatments and a 51.1% brightness enhancement.

Mesoestetic

Mesoestetic has added to its Anti-Blemish Solutions line with the new Blemiderm® resurfacing gel. The gel is formulated with salicylic acid and glycolic acid to refine the pores, purify, and retexture skin. Made to tackle combination, oily, and acne-prone skin, it reduces excess sebum, decongests the pores, and regulates action on the main acne-triggering factors to prevent the appearance of blemishes.

SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals introduces a re-generation of its AGE Interrupter – the AGE Interrupter Advanced. The multi-corrective cream targets signs of visible ageing caused by collagen decline and glycation. During the ageing process, sugars bind to the skin’s structural proteins, forming molecules known as ‘advanced glycation end process’ (AGE). This process weakens collagen, leading to visible signs of ageing. The new formula boasts more potent levels of proxylane, alongside additional complimentary ingredients like glycyrrhetinic acid, a liquorice root extract used for its soothing properties. Proxylane is a potent active ingredient that targets the appearance of wrinkles.

Cynosure

Cynosure is developing radiofrequency (RF) micro-needling with its new Potenza device. The device offers more customised micro-needling treatment for patients, with four modes. The monopolar RF mode delivers energy across a large area, with the bipolar mode offering a more concentrated delivery of the waves. Its new Tiger Tip™ is the first semi-insulated needle of its design, allowing practitioners to expand the treatment zone, and address more tissue per treatment, allowing quicker sessions for patients. The Potenza is suitable for all skin types, anywhere on the body, at any time of year.

Seacra

Seacra utilises the natural antioxidant power of red algae to fight ageing and improve skin structure. Its Glow Shot is a collagen shot, created with clinically proven Peptan® marine collagen and Ceramosides™ patented complex. It claims to be the first red algae-infused collagen drink and is made from 98% natural ingredients. Astaxanthin is the bioactive compound in red algae, fighting against external stressors such as reactive oxidative species that cause premature ageing. The Peptan® marine collagen is clinically tested and aims to nourish hair, nails, bones, and joints, and maintain skin structure. The combination of these products aims to improve skin from the inside, out.

Hypo21

Hypo21 is helping posttreatment symptoms with its Pure HOCI Skin Spray. HOCI, the spray’s star ingredient, is an electrolysed, antimicrobial solution that deactivates pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, spores, and fungi, to clean and regenerate damaged skin. Hypo21 recommends the spray for use on facial aesthetics patients to reduce inflammation and healing time. It aims to naturally boost immune responses, helping the skin heal itself, and stimulating the migration of keratinocytes to move in and close wounds, promoting faster growth of new skin cells.
