IAAFA Conference and Charity ball returns

November 19, De Vere Beaumont Estate, Windsor Aesthetic practitioner, founder and president Professor Bob Khanna welcomed delegates to International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics’ annual conference and charity ball. During the conference, Khanna introduced attendees to new botulinum toxin Letybo, and business development consultant Ron Myers advised practitioners on sustainability strategies. Other conference highlights included aesthetic dentist Dr Rita Poddar’s talk on a multimodal approach to facial aesthetics and aesthetic practitioner and Sherina Balaratnam’s tips on how to develop a successful clinic by building the right team. The evening saw the venue transformed for the annual awards ceremony, with £35,000 raised for Make-A-Wish UK on the night.

Dr Tapan hosts Cutera university clinical forum 2022

November 27, De Vere Beaumont Estate, Windsor Aesthetic technology manufacturer Cutera held the third annual Cutera University Clinical Forum (CUCF), followed by a black-tie charity ball, hosted by the director of Harley Street’s PHI Clinic, Dr Tapan Patel. During the conference, Mr Kamiz Golchin gave a live demonstration while discussing the next evolution in skin resurfacing, and an expert panel discussed new technologies in the resurfacing field. Dr Yusra Al-Mukhtar looked at the latest tweakments in aesthetic medicine, and Dr Nestor Demosthenous and Dr Nina Mahmoodi discussed diversifying body sculpting treatments. The ball raised funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, which supports kids with serious illnesses. “Driven by a passion for supporting our clients and partners, we have put CUCF on the map to celebrate and reflect on what has been achieved in such a short amount of time,” said Leighannah Tickner, Cutera’s country manager, UK&I.
