Introducing holistic innovation
How Gelida is revolutionising fat freezing
When clients walk into a clinic and enquire about fat-freezing treatments, the options are not always pleasant in their methodologies.
Immediate results after one 50 minute treatment
Liposuction is the common surgical way, but for those who prefer not to go under the knife, suction cups have always been the preferred method to lose weight and tackle subcutaneous fat.
These suction cups are static in their positioning and suck the fat into the cup and hold for an hour while freezing a small target area.
This methodology is becoming outdated in today’s world, where more natural and holistic treatments are preferred by many clients, but until now, have not been made available.
Gelida, a new wellness aesthetics brand, has introduced its Waves21, an innovative device that eradicates the use of the common suction cups by introducing a manually manoeuvred ‘cold handle’. This handle, with its cold plate, glides over an entire target area, giving a pleasant ‘cold massage’ while freezing fat cells down to temperatures as low as -15, a lot colder than the usual -11.
Gelida’s Waves21 ‘cold handle’ contains violet LED lights that help facilitate the balance between sodium and potassium and relax and decompress nerves and muscles. This cold handle aids with lymphatic drainage, skin tightening and skin soothing while freezing subcutaneous and visceral fat.
Visceral fat is almost impossible to combat with current aesthetic devices. Waves21 targets visceral fat by massaging metameric bands down the back, which stimulates the nervous system, promoting the removal of this stubborn fat.

“Best treatments ever” Judy Murray
“Wow!” Pixie Lott
“I had no cups and no bruises and I feel amazing!” Roxy Horner
“I’m a new woman!” Amy Jackson
Waves21 freezes fat holistically and has been billed as a ‘scientific breakthrough’ for a sector that can now move into a new generation of holistic aesthetic treatments.
