AlumierMD

New from clinical skincare brand AlumierMD is HydraRich, billed as a postbiotic moisturiser. Its blend of ingredients – two peptides, a postbiotic and “intelligent” emollients – influence the microbiome of the skin and protect against external aggressors, acting to defend the skin’s health as well as improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea and dry skin. HydraRich also contains both high and low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid, simultaneously sitting on top of the skin as a humectant and replenishing HA in the deeper layers.

SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals has launched Advanced Scar Control, a topical gel to help improve the appearance of recent scars and prevent new scars from forming. The product is made of 95% pure silicones – “the goldstandard protective scar treatment ingredient” – 0.5% allatonin to soothe and protect compromised skin, as well as 2% fatty acids from sunflower seed oil to boost hydration. Ultralight silica provides a smooth, non-sticky texture. The product has been proven to improve the appearance of scars by 29% within 12 weeks, according to the brand.

Vivacy

Laboratories Vivacy has launched a new line of skincare products for men called Monsieur Skincare, comprising four products: Refreshing Skin Care Water and Expert Moisturising Care to provide immediate and long-lasting hydration; Instant Soothing Gel, to reduce razor burn, relieving irritation and repairing the skin after shaving, and Smoothing Anti-wrinkle Serum and Global Anti-ageing Care, both formulated to reduce wrinkles and restructure the skin. Key ingredient Treignac mineral water is rich in soothing silica. Also new from Vivacy is Stylage Lips Plus. The HA dermal filler has a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid than the brand’s existing Special Lips filler, at 20mg/g. While Special Lips is designed for definition, hydration and adding light volume, Lips Plus gives fuller volume while still formulated to respond to the histological and vascular needs of the lip area.

Revitalash

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, lash and browcare brand RevitaLash is launching a new product – Lash and Brow Masque. Formulated with a tri-flora complex of ginseng, gleditsia and white nettle to restore hair strength, trehalose to repair moisture levels, biotin to condition and strengthen; and vitamin E for antioxidant benefits, the mask is to be used twice a week to help repair and restore lash and brow health.

AesthetiCare

Alpha by Formatk combines two technologies for an all-in-one solution to a wide range of hair removal and skin treatments. The 808nm diode laser has five treatment modes to enable practitioners to tailor treatments flexibly depending on the desired results and patient comfort levels, while the “3D” IPL offers maximum control over pulse duration, energy level and tip temperature, delivering a more precise and effective treatment. The device also features contact cooling and a “fast and painless” mode. Alpha by Formatk is distributed by AesthetiCare.

Zemits

New body-contouring device GioStim by Zemits uses highintensity electromagnetic muscle and body-sculpting technology to deliver results with no downtime and minimal to no discomfort during treatment. Featuring six sports modes, the device claims to simultaneously tone muscles and burn excess fat in short three-week treatment plans. It works by forcing muscles into a highly stressful condition, causing them to adapt in response, thereby increasing muscle mass and leading fat cells to apoptosis.

Delo RX

Hybrid Cleanser from Dr Stefanie Williams’ upcoming skincare brand Delo Rx is specifically designed for breakout-prone (acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, etc.), sensitive skins, combining salicylic acid to deeply clear pores; Symsitive, which optimises tolerance to salicylic acid for sensitive skins, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant organic white tea extract, soothing and calming bisabolol and organic cucumber juice, which gives the product its natural fresh scent. The cleanser also has anti-ageing benefits, hence its name.

Skinbetter Science

New from Skinbetter Science is EyeMax AlphaRet Overnight Cream. The cream features the brand’s AlphaRet technology, combining a retinoid and an AHA to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the eye area. The product also features a hydrating complex to support the barrier of delicate skin around the eye and antioxidants to provide defence against environmental stressors. The brand’s own dermatologist-led clinical trial reported a 94% improvement in the appearance of under-eye dryness at 12 weeks.
