Thirst for knowledge

Aesthetic Medicine North 2021 will bring a world–class faculty of speakers to Manchester to share their knowledge and insight

Aesthetic Medicine North was founded with the philosophy of bringing stellar education to aesthetic practitioners outside of London. Now in its fifth year, AM North has gone from strength to strength, and this year will see multiple streams running across the one-day event, offering something for everyone.

CLINICAL CONFERENCE

The AM North clinical conference programme gives delegates access to CPD-accredited learning. Our 2021 line-up brings some new faces to our Manchester event as well as featuring some of the most successful practitioners based in the Midlands, North and Scotland as well as leading lights from London.

Sponsored by HA-Derma and with chairs including Mr Arturo Almeida and Mr Ali Ghanem, the conference will cover a broad range of topics from anatomy and complications to menopause, skin conditions, buttock augmentation and dermal fillers. Our speaker faculty includes Dr Raj Thethi, Dr Martin Kinsella, Dr Pradnya Apte, Anna Baker, Dr Uche Aniagwu, Sara Cheeney, Deborah Forsythe, Amanda Wilson and Dr Martyn King and Tracey Dennison.

HA-DERMA SPONSORED WORKSHOPS

Join Adrian Baker, Anna Baker and Dr Raphael Mohammed for this duo of HA-Derma sponsored workshops.

Workshop 1, led by Adrian Baker, will run from 10am to 11am and will be an introduction to the four pillars of the IBSA Derma portfolio – prevention, correction, volumisation and regeneration.

Delegates will learn the significant and important differences between mesotherapy, skin boosters, dermal fillers and biomodelling products as well as treatments, indications and outcomes.

This workshop is open to UK and Ireland registered doctors, nurses or dentists with a minimum of one year’s experience in aesthetics.

Workshop 2, led by Anna Baker and Dr Raphael Mohammed , will focus on the four pillars of the IBSA Derma portfolio, delving deeper into case studies. The pair will demonstrate how to successfully combine mesotherapy, skin boosters, dermal fillers and biomodelling for results-driven treatment plans.

This session is ideal for medical practitioners already familiar with the products in IBSA’s Four Pillars and runs from 11.30am- 1pm. Open to UK and Ireland registered doctors, nurses, and dentists.

To book your place on either of the HA-Derma workshops simply register for the show at aestheticmed.co.uk/northreg and select the option to book the workshop. You will be asked to provide your Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body (PSRB) details which will be verified before your place is confirmed.

ICAN CONFERENCE

Amanda Wilson, founder of the International College of Aesthetic Nurses (ICAN), will be hosting a half-day conference for the association for the first time at AM North. Although aimed at nurses, the agenda on the afternoon of the event will be open to all Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body (PSRB) attendees.

Speakers and topics confirmed so far include: Sara Cheeney on dermal fillers for the lips, Fiona Wondergem on weight management products for aesthetic clinics and Neil Phybis on getting started in aesthetics. Register for free at aestheticmed.co.uk/northreg

BAHRS CONFERENCE

The BAHRS Conference returns to Aesthetic Medicine North – the first time since the pandemic that specialists in the field will be able to get together – with a one-day agenda filled with fantastic speakers and subjects that will help anyone who is currently or looking to offer surgical and non-surgical hair-restoration treatments within their business. Vice president of BAHRS Dr Chris D’Souza will be chairing the event with well-respected speakers such as Iain Sallis, Mark Smith and Dr Greg Williams, covering subjects of interest for trichologists, scalp micropigmentation practitioners an hair transplant surgeons.

The event will also showcase HairMetrix, TrichoTest, Pharma Hermetic, Questa Psychological Services and other brands.

AM North will feature a dual Business Workshop and Live Demo Stage for 2021 with four focused business sessions running across the first half of the day.

Designed to arm delegates with practical skills and strategies that can be implemented in clinic straight away, the speaker lineup includes top business consultants, marketing specialists and inspiring entrepreneurs.
