SKINCEUTICALS MASTER PHYSICIAN EVENT

Renaissance Hotel, King’s Cross The Skinceuticals Master Physician Event, held at the luxurious Renaissance Hotel, was packed full of some of the biggest names in the sector, including speakers Dr Brendan Molloy, Miss Jonquille Chantrey and Dr Nina Prisk.

Editor, Kezia Parkins and advertising manager Lisa Merrigan were lucky enough to attend the one-day CPD-accredited event for medics, which was a wealth of information, providing insights on consumer trends, the promise of integrated skincare and the power of partnership.

Stand-out talks included Miss Chantrey’s, where she discussed ‘The Consultation Compass’ and the need to redefine ethical aesthetics, and dove into celebrity-driven trends, the filler crisis and the current ethical dilemmas that aesthetic practitioners are facing.

This was later followed by Dr Cemal Kavasogullari’s talk: ‘Elasticity Rescue After Rapid Fat Loss’, where he broke down structural strategies for modern metabolic ageing – a timely topic for our October ‘Body Issue.’

We also got to hear some fascinating observations on consumer trends from L’Oréal’s head of Insights, Jamie Mills.
