CROMA UK PRODUCTION AND LABORATORY FACILITIES VISIT

Croma Head Offices, Vienna

Croma Pharma recently welcomed 25 delegates from the UK, along with editor Anna Dobbie and the Croma UK team, to its global headquarters in Vienna for an educational event tailored to healthcare professionals in aesthetic medicine. This exclusive trip provided a platform to explore the latest advancements and innovations in the field.

Upon their arrival in Vienna on October 30, the delegates were introduced to the Croma team and enjoyed an evening of networking over a welcome dinner at Clementine im Glashaus, located in the heart of the city.

The learning commenced on October 31 with opening remarks by owner and managing director Andreas Prinz and head of global business services Valentin Gruber, who welcomed attendees to the headquarters and provided an overview of the day’s agenda.

In the morning session, participants delved into Croma Pharma’s rich history, which spans over 40 years of expertise in hyaluronic acid-based products. Established in 1976 as a privately owned family business, Croma has consistently prioritised innovation, scientific excellence, and ophthalmologygrade purity in its products, supported by a strong in-house research and development team.

Delegates also had the unique opportunity to tour Croma’s production and laboratory facilities, gaining insights into the meticulous processes involved in manufacturing pharma-grade hyaluronic acid syringes. The company highlighted its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of purity and quality through advanced laboratory capabilities.

A particular emphasis was placed on the role of Croma’s quality control (QC) department, which ensures the safety, reliability, and superior quality of all medical devices produced on-site. This meticulous approach extends to both primary and final packaging, guaranteeing that products reach practitioners in optimal condition. All the delegates had an unforgettable few days of networking and learning while soaking in the Austrian culture at the heart of the brand – thanks for an amazing experience, Croma!
