Alma

Opus is the latest release from laser manufacturer Alma. The device offers two core treatments: skin resurfacing and tightening. Alma’s unipolar radiofrequency enables deeper skin penetration and faster homogenous thermal effects for new collagen stimulation. The Opus Plasma applicator utilises fractional plasma technology, operating at a high frequency to charge metal pins to a high RF voltage. Like microneedling, this boosts collagen production through a wound healing response, producing a new skin surface without needles.

APG Tech

APG Tech is introducing Golden APG Radiofrequency to its range of aesthetic devices. The four interchangeable applicators are plated in gold, a bio-compatible material with very high transmission performance and resistance to oxidation. All the applicators have adjustable radiofrequency emission, and a temperature sensor so practitioners can monitor the skin throughout treatment. Each applicator treats a different part of the body, ranging from small to large. The XS Face allows practitioners to work with extreme precision in delicate areas, while the Face functionally treats the rest of the face. The Body applicator is larger, and the Matrix Advanced Tip is ideal for areas where the skin is thinner.

Skinbetter Science

Mystro Active Balance Serum is launching in the UK market. The serum is powered by P.A.T.H (plant adaptogens targeting homeostasis) technology, a blend of plant-based adaptogens designed to enhance the skin’s natural ability to adapt to stress and achieve balance. A dermatologist-led clinical trial of patients with mild-to-severe photo-damaged skin used the serum twice daily in conjunction with other products. Everyone surveyed reported an improvement in the overall facial skin quality, while 98% said they felt more confident in their skin’s appearance.

5 Squirrels

Addressing oily and blemish-prone skin concerns, 5 Squirrels’ Clarify Collection will be available to pre-order for clinics in October. The established product, Clear: Degreasing Cleanser, is now joined in the range by three new products – Remove: Oil Control Pads, Control: Breakout-Buster Serum, and Zap: Blemish Control Pen. The products are formulated with high-potency ingredients that are effective in treating the areas of concern for people with oily and blemish-prone skin and can be bought as a range or individually.

iS Clinical

The in-house doctors and formulations experts at iS Clinical are introducing its highly active, fast-acting Retinol+ Emulsion. The multi-tasking Retinol+ Emulsion is a fast-acting keratolytic formula featuring encapsulated and bio-identical lipids, phosphatidylcholine, and triglycerides. Available in two strengths 0.3%, and 1%, this resurfacing treatment transforms skin, thanks to its advanced blend of pharmaceutical-grade, botanically derived ingredients. Utilising an encapsulated, stable form of retinol shea butter for improved delivery to the skin, alongside bakuchiol, these star ingredients help reduce the appearance and prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Cosmeditech

The SoftFX skin analysis device provides pre-set programmes to evaluate skin conditions for targeted areas including the face, hair, body, décolleté, legs, and hands. It’s able to collect patient histories and track their progress over time. The design is ultra-compact, with a ten-inch full-angle touchscreen display. The camera utilises augmented reality technology, as well as autofocus and a 60-degree angle view. Patients can receive their results on their phone or tablet, with an email option available as well.

BTL

BTL Aesthetics has released a new four-in-one device, the Exion. The device addresses face, body, and intimate health concerns with minimal discomfort and downtime. Designed with four different handpieces to treat over 20 areas of the body, the standout is the Fractional RF, a microneedling applicator that utilises AI pulse control together with monopolar radiofrequency (RF). The Exion Face combines monopolar RF with targeted ultrasound to help boost the body’s ability to produce collagen. The Exion Body addresses lax skin and localised fat deposits, while the Emfemme 360 offers a solution for intimate health problems.

Image Skincare

Image Skincare has released a modernised formula for its Vital C Hydrating Eye Recovery Gel, to meet Image’s clean clinical skincare standard. The gel features a perfectly balanced blend of BV-OSC vitamin C, anti-ageing peptides, hyaluronic acid, and collagen recovery complex. Star ingredient BV-OSC is a concentrated form of the component of vitamin C that promotes collagen synthesis. It is more stable than plain vitamin C, making it 50% more effective. The new formula penetrates the skin’s surface around the delicate eye area for optimal efficacy without congesting pores.

Dermoaroma

Italian-based brand Dermoaroma is launching its new Purasomes technology, a collection of products that are formulated to advance and amplify cell regeneration to repair, restore and renew. There are formulations for skin and scalp, made to be delivered with microneedling, all using a blend of potent growth factors and enriched exosomes derived from organic bovine colostrum. Colustrum is abundant in vitamins and nutrients, with over 250 biologically active compounds, and bovine colostrum serves as an ideal alternative to the human equivalent. Dermoaroma’s AMPLEX+ technology isolates and concentrates exosomes, growth factors and cytokines using complex crossflow filtration and purification techniques.

AlumierMD

The Radiance Reveal A.C.E. at-home kit has been expertly curated to help patients future-proof their skin. The limited-edition kit contains AlumierMD’s clinically validated Everactive C&E + Peptide and AHA Renewal Serum and helps to improve in-clinic results. The products are a preventative and corrective duo, rejuvenating skin at any stage of life, without compromising the skin’s natural barrier.
