Happy Birthday HA-Derma

HA–DERMA CELEBRATED ITS 5TH ANNIVERSARY LAST MONTH

HA-Derma was launched to offer the aesthetics industry an outstanding hyaluronic acid product portfolio from IBSA DERMA.

The company obtained the exclusive distribution agreement for the UK & Ireland following a thorough selection process and has been distributing IBSA’s products since 2015.

Ethics, integrity and efficacy have always been at the heart of the business.

We have been persistent in passing our market and product knowledge onto practitioners. Our aim is not just selling products, but to focus on helping practitioners to achieve the best possible results with the IBSA portfolio.

We are very proud of our “train first, treat after” strategy, which helped us to promote IBSA’s global anti-ageing strategy and deliver the company’s unique concept of “curing the wrinkles” instead of just fixing them. We continuously work very closely with IBSA, and as a result of this, practitioners who work with us have access to this first-hand, undiluted product knowledge.

We consider ourselves fortunate to be working with a company like IBSA, who leads the way in hyaluronic acid innovations. IBSA currently has 58 exclusive registered patents, while several other products are under development. IBSA is present in 9 major therapeutic areas.

Our brands include:

• Aliaxin, a dermalfiller line for volume restoration, high tissue integration, natural and long-lasting results

• Profhilo, stabilised hybrid cooperative complexes, the first product developed with NAHYCO technology – a unique and innovative production process patented by IBSA, aimed at counteracting skin laxity through tissue remodelling

• Viscoderm, a complete line for bio-restructuration procedures, restoring the physiological conditions of healthy skin (hydration, firmness, brightness and superficial lines).

IBSA’s “multi-action skin renovation products” offer guaranteed excellent tolerability, clinically proven performance and IBSA’s FDA-approved, SHYALT ultrapure hyaluronic acid raw material (ranks worldwide as “top high quality” in terms of purity and safety).

Iveta Vinklerova, director of HA-Derma, comments: “The pace of growth for our products is really exciting. We see it as confirmation that the market understands the need for high quality HA injectable products developed and produced by a company with a strong pharmaceutical background. More and more bookings in clinics are being driven by patients requesting the treatments – which is a great indication of the increasing levels of awareness of the brands. This is a testament to IBSA’s company philosophy, product knowledge, innovation and HA-Derma’s work as a distributor where market knowledge and hard work proved to be the key.”

Joanne Passaretti from IBSA DERMA adds: “HA-Derma has not only gained the attention of these markets, making the IBSA aesthetic products known in record time, but has also helped to make the IBSA brands well-known worldwide. HA-Derma is by far the most efficient distributor in IBSA’s dermoaesthetic business unit with a strong focus on professional education and patient welfare.”

HA-Derma received the IBSA Excellence award in 2018 (Profhilo Gamechanger) and 2019 (Best Performance).
