STYLAGE HYDROMAX

Lisa Merrigan visits Dr Zunaid Alli for a Vivacy treatment to improve skin elasticity and hydration

THE LOWDOWN

STYLAGE Hydro and HydroMax are specifically designed to improve hydration and cutaneous elasticity of the face, neck, décolleté and back of hands. The product contains hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in the body, and boasts its own exclusive ‘Skin 3 Complex’, which stimulates collagen while promoting cell regeneration and restoring the skin’s barrier function.

Hyaluronic acid has been studied in the medical field for more than 50 years and is the body’s natural way of giving the skin elasticity. Vivacy claims the treatment can improve skin elasticity and fight severe dehydration. In Vivacy’s customer satisfaction survey, a whopping 96% of patients noticed a substantial improvement in their skin – and I wanted to see for myself what this could do!

THE EXPERIENCE

I was pleased when I found out that Dr Zunaid Alli, who is a global KOL for Vivacy, offers Hydromax at Edition Clinic, which is located a stone’s throw from Aesthetic Medicine’s HQ in Wimbledon. His stunning clinic is always such a pleasure to visit and the contemporary feel was designed with CQC standards in mind, incorporating facilities for minor surgical procedures, laser treatments and energy-based therapies. It also serves as a training hub, where he educates other practitioners, so felt I was in super safe hands!

The treatment itself was quick. Dr Alli thoroughly cleansed my face and used a cannula to distribute the product safely and effectively through just one entry point on each cheek. I can honestly say, I felt no pain, just a slight bit of discomfort, which was over in a flash. The process was repeated on the other side and that was that.

Dr Alli recommended a course of two treatments to begin with, four weeks apart, followed by a ‘touch up’ session every six months to maintain the results.

THE VERDICT

This is exactly what I was looking for – a refreshed appearance, glow and lots of hydration. After my first treatment, my skin immediately felt softer and looked dewy, which, in turn, decreased the depth of dehydration lines around my eyes and mouth. It wasn't a dramatic change, I just looked fresh, as if I'd been getting my eight hours and drinking my two litres (which is not always the case!)

I was satisfied that Hydromax gave my skin exactly what was needed – hydration from within, as well as improved smoothness and glow. I would recommend Hydromax to someone who is looking for a subtle enhancement that won't change the shape of their face. If dryness and dullness are your patients’ concerns then this is the go-to product. A quick treatment with no downtime, I can see and feel improvement in my skin and have received lots of compliments on how good my skin looks!

BUSINESS BENEFITS:

Results can be seen instantly with no downtime and can also be combined with other treatments.
