S-THETICS CLINIC, SUMMER AESTHETICS EVENT HEDSOR HOUSE, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
S-Thetics Clinic hosted its 7th annual Summer Aesthetics Event at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire, bringing together industry leaders, guests and press for a day of treatment, demonstrations, presentations, and educational experiences. Guests were also treated to cocktails and canapés and were able to explore the gorgeous venue of Hedsor House.
Hosted by Dr Sherina Balaratnan, the founder of S-Thetics Clinic in Beaconsfield Old Town, the event highlighted the latest regenerative aesthetic treatments and technologies.
Opening the event, Dr Balaratnan gave a presentation about the process of ageing and spoke about how people are ageing prematurely due to factors such as stress, diet, and sun exposure. She also emphasised the benefits of a combination of aesthetic ‘tweakments’ that help to subtly, but effectively, improve the appearance.
Guest speakers included founder of The Tweakments Guide, Alice Hart-Davis, Celluma Inventor and CEO Patrick Johnson, and international specialist in PRP, Sandrine Grept-Locher.
BTL offered taster sessions of EMSCULPT NEO, its body sculpting treatment that directs electromagnetic energy to the targeted area forcing the muscles to contract. Totally Derma Nutraceuticals were also on hand, giving guests the opportunity to try its collagen supplement drinks which help rejuvenate and repair skin, hair, nails, joints, bones, and gut health.
There was also the chance for guests to experience Celluma Light Therapy and HydraFacials. Finally, iS Clinical Skincare showcased its new products with exclusive discounts.

DR PATRICK TREACY RECEIVES AIDA AWARD ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Dr Patrick Treacy has received the AIDA Award in Abu Dhabi for Outstanding Contributions to Aesthetic Medicine. The award acknowledged his work in establishing globally-recognised protocols for the use of hyaluronidase during vascular occlusion, a rare but potentially detrimental complication that results from accidental injection of dermal filler into an artery. This condition occlusion can rapidly progress to tissue necrosis if not identified and treated quickly. Hyaluronidase is now used by plastic surgeons and dermatologists worldwide to reverse the injurious effects of hyaluronic acid injections, and Dr Treacy is recognised to be among the first doctors worldwide to use this compound and establish protocols for its use.
