Candela

New from aesthetic device manufacturer Candela is the FraxPro system. The CE-marked, non-ablative fractional device features dual-depth skin resurfacing with Frax 1550 and Frax 1940 applicators. The two modalities target different skin layers, stimulating the growth of new collagen and revealing a smoother, brighter complexion. The FraxPro system’s applicatorconfined diode laser technology and a reductive design provides a lightweight, flexible umbilical for a comfortable, ergonomic reach and improved treatment visibility.

Allergan Aesthetics

Allergan Aesthetics has introduced an evolution of its CoolScuplting cryolipolysis device. CoolSculpting Elite is redesigned and re-engineered with a more powerful chiller enabling simultaneous dual-applicator treatment. Seven new applicators have larger cooling surfaces to treat a wide variety of body areas, and improved cooling distribution to treat a greater percentage of targeted tissue. The device complements the body’s natural curves to elevate patient outcomes while using the same technology as CoolSculpting to target and freeze fat cells.

Exuviance

Distributor Aesthetic Source has introduced a selection of new Exuviance professional products. Retinol Eye Crème, formulated with time-released retinol, encourages skin renewal and targets the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles; Retinal Serum enhances the skin’s hydration matrix and reduces the look of dull and uneven skin tone; and Radiance Peel is designed to exfoliate and brighten – training for the Radiance Peel is offered to all practitioners and clinic stockists. Also new are two professional sheet masks; Restore Polyhydroxy Biocellulose Sheet Masque to moisturise and provide antioxidant protection and Hydrate Hyaluronic Acid Biocellulose Sheet Masque to hydrate the skin.

Meder Beauty

Professional skincare brand Meder Beauty has put together six DIY Facial Kits. The first three steps of each facial are skin preparation protocols designed to ensure that the active ingredients deeply penetrate the skin. Each kit contains six products precisely measured in single-dose tubes and sachets for five facials, with one full-size bottle of the appropriate Active Concentrate to use daily in between treatments. The Myo-Fix kit is for frown control, Lipo-Oval is for de-puffing, Red-Apax reduces redness, Eu-Seb treats acne, Arma-Lift supports the skin pre- and post-menopause; and Hydra-Fill is for deep hydration.

Oxyjet

Oxyjet UK has added two new products to its Nora Bode skincare range. Acid 7 Peel delivers a combination of seven acids including glycolic, citric, malic, tartaric, lactic and salicylic to penetrate all layers of the skin, accelerating the cell renewal process and resulting in the softening of fine lines. Intense Hydration Fluid, formulated with hyaluronic acid, serine, urea and squalene, combats dryness, expression lines and wrinkles.

SmartMed

Aesthetic devices supplier SmartMed has released the INTRAcel PRO, a radiofrequency microneedling device. INTRAcel PRO treatment tips use 49 densely packed microneedles for targeted RF energy transmission and adjustable coagulation depth of tissue, offering flexibility for the user’s purpose. Further customisation is offered through the choice of noninvasive or minimally-invasive needle types. INTRAcel PRO can be used to treat skin texture, acne, scarring, fine lines, large pores and stretch marks, and is suitable for use on any skin colour or type.

skinbetter Science 

skinbetter Science has extended its AlphaRet range with the launch of AlphaRet Clearing Serum. Formulated with salicylic and lactic acids, niacinamide and the brand’s retinoid technology, the serum combines pore-clearing, hydrating and soothing ingredients to rejuvenate and clarify the appearance of oily, blemish-prone skin. Also new is Solo Hydrating Defense for men. Formulated with WEL technology, the product provides antioxidant protection to prevent signs of ageing as a result of environmental stressors.

SKN Rehab

SKN Rehab has introduced the SKN Pro System, a compact and transportable system combining five technologies with active vitamins, peptides and antioxidant infusions designed to provide anti-ageing, anti-acne, brightening and hydration benefits. Featuring diamond microdermabrasion; negative nano-current, iontophoresis, LED light therapy and oxygen infusion, the technologies can be used together in one advanced skin treatment, or individually as add-ons and to give practitioners endless new treatment combinations.

AlumierMD

The clinical skincare brand has released The Eye Edit, a collection of products to soothe puffy, tired eyes. Containing AluminEye and Eye Rescue pads, the kit is suitable for all skin types and targets dark circles, fine lines and puffiness. With tremella mushroom extract and niacinamide, AluminEye is a rich anti-ageing eye cream to hydrate, protect and increase elasticity in the eye area. Meanwhile, cooling Eye Rescue Pads are formulated with niacinamide, tocopheryl acetate and vitamin B5, to rejuvenate the eye area by restoring moisture to the skin and brightening.

SkinCeuticals

SkinCeuticals is extending its Double Defence kits with the addition of the Silymarin CF Double Defence kit. The kit combines high-potency oil-free antioxidant Silymarin CF with Advanced Brightening UV Defence SPF 50+. The combination helps prevent blemish-causing oil oxidation, delivers skin-brightening benefits and protects against premature signs of ageing induced by ozone pollution and daily UV damage.

Medik8

Medik8’s latest cosmeceutical skincare launch is Sleep Glycolic, an at-home 10% glycolic acid peel delivering resurfacing results overnight, to brighten, smooth and decongest the skin. Formulated with a free active glycolic acid value of 10%, as well as glycerin and Korean clover extract, the product penetrates the deepest layers of the skin to address stubborn concerns such as uneven texture and a lacklustre complexion.

Institute BCN

BCN Lipid-Peptides is the newest mesotherapy cocktail from Spanish brand BCN’s Advanced line. Using a multi-target strategy, the product is suitable for shock therapy on localised fat deposits of the body contour, abdominal folds, arms, thighs, buttocks, knees and the waist. Its formula contains active ingredients including caffeine, phosphatidylcholine and carnitine, with recognised lipolytic and reducing actions combined with peptides to restructure the connective tissue and act on localised fat deposits; for visible body silhouette remodelling and an improvement of skin quality.
