INMODE SUMMIT 2024
Forte Village, Sardinia
Editor Anna Dobbie was lucky enough to attend InMode’s annual summit in Sardinia, Italy. Held from September 5-8 at the luxurious Forte Village resort, this sold-out event was truly unforgettable.
The summit focused on two days of engaging scientific lectures led by industry experts, offering the latest insights and advancements in the field of medical and surgical aesthetics. Topics covered included hair restoration, facial and body contouring, skin treatments, and more, with attendees getting hands-on experience with InMode’s state-of-the-art technologies. Agenda highlights included Dr Salvatore Pagano’s talk on elevating body contouring using the BodyTite Turbo handpiece, Dr Alredo Hoyos’ presentations on QuantumRF and Dr Stephen Mulholland explaining the advances in the Optimas Max.
Aside from the educational sessions, attendees enjoyed a series of special events throughout the summit. Abeachside cocktail party kicked off the first evening. The next night, a lively Sardinian party with a white dress code was held at a traditional villa, with folk performers mingling with the crowd and an amazing DJ. The event ended in style with a glamorous gala dinner under the stars.
“It’s been two days of packed learning,” said The Yorkshire Skin Centre’s Dr Raj Thethi. “What am I taking away from the trip? It’s a new era, this is the cutting edge of technology and we are advancing. InMode is leading the way, it’s fantastic; I can’t wait to get my hands on the new kit.”
Dr Shirin Lakhani from Elite Aesthetics said the trip had been a fantastic learning experience. “The talks have been really high quality, I’ve picked up loads of new tips and techniques and it’s been a fabulous networking event as well,” she added. “I’ve met practitioners from all over the world and it’s brilliant to share ideas.”
“Practitioners had the opportunity to experience a fusion of tradition and innovation,” said InMode UK managing director Victoria Voysey. “Immersed in captivating discussions, we had the opportunity to witness the latest advancements in surgical and medical aesthetics with the unveiling of new platforms. The InMode summit was more than just an event; it was a transformative experience designed to ignite creativity, fuel passion, and propel the sector into The InMode Era of excellence.”
“Having attended the fifteenth birthday and first InMode global summit in Cyprus, I was not going to miss this second summit in Sardinia,” said Dr Dev Patel from Perfect Skin Solutions. “It was an amazing destination but frankly, it could have been anywhere. I have a trusted and long-term relationship with InMode - with its world-class aesthetic and surgical devices and, most importantly, its people. This summit was twice as big, with 600 attendees from every country in which InMode has a presence, from Japan to Finland. It was like I was at the United Nations summit, just more fun! The usual line-up of fantastic speakers included some of my mentors, who are true pioneers in the field, which ensured I left with important learning and action points. The evenings were filled with the most glamorous and spectacular entertainment, food and music. The company made it for me, and I left with some amazing memories and new connections.”
The summit provided a platform for industry leaders, innovative speakers, and professionals from around the world to connect, share knowledge, and learn from each other. The stunning setting of Sardinia only added to the beauty and inspiration of the event.
For those who missed out on this year’s summit, anticipation is already building for next year’s event. The InMode summit has firmly established itself as a must-attend gathering for those in the aesthetics and medical technology field.
