Cerepharma

Aster International, the UK distributor for Belgian skin brand Cerepharma, has launched the Cerefino device. Its six attachments enable skin specialists to offer multiple non-invasive treatments. The ultrasonic scrubber and hydrodermabrasion tool are effective for exfoliation, a hyperbaric oxygen jet oxygenates and stimulates, while an ultrasound attachment is used for regeneration. There is also a bipolar radiofrequency attachment for tightening and lifting and a ‘cold hammer’ to soothe the skin. Each attachment has its own, carefully designed product to work in synergy with the device and maximise the effect of every treatment.

Hydrafacial

Hydrafacial and JLO Beauty believe that radiant skin starts with ingredients, products, and techniques, that improve skin quality. The two brands have collaborated on a new booster that can be added to all Hydrafacial and Hydrabody treatments, with three key aims: tightening, brightening, and hydrating. JLO’s signature olive leaf extract is a key ingredient, delivering that iconic ‘JLO glow’. Other ingredients include snow mushrooms, beetroot, and tiger grass, as a fermented adaptogen blend that supports and restores the skin’s dewy fresh glow. The proprietary hydra-complex includes rice bran extract, polyglutamic acid, and hyaluronic acid to nourish the skin.

Evenswiss

Swiss brand Evenswiss has released Regenerating Plasma, a skin protectant that contains the patented dermatopoietin polypeptide complex formula at 500% concentration to boost collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid levels within the dermis. In turn, this assists in tightening the skin and facilitating a much more youthful appearance. Furthermore, the product has cooling properties, allowing the skin to recover faster. The formulation also has rich antioxidants, which, alongside the high concentration of dermatopoietin, firm the skin, reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

ZENii

ZENii London has a new liquid collagen supplement, specifically targeted at men. ProCollagen Max contains 10,000mg per serving of type one and three marine collagen — more collagen than any other tablet or capsule on the market. The supplement also contains powerful co-ingredients including vitamin C, minerals, hyaluronic acid for joint lubrication, aloe vera powder to boost metabolism and digestion and green tea powder for faster exercise recovery. The high-strength supplement aims to not only target the skin but also benefit the overall health of men as their collagen production declines.

Cosmeditech

TargetCool is a precise, controlled, cryotherapy device that can be used in combination with other treatments, as a stand-alone treatment, or after treatment, to promote healing. The portable, handheld device has multiple features to optimise the level of performance in clinical surgical procedures, including a cooling nozzle to reduce inflammation, and a freezing nozzle for cryosurgery. Both the ampoule injection nozzle and carbon rejuvenation attachment can non-invasively penetrate the derma, for the penetration of ampoule and CO2, respectively. The product aims to reduce patient discomfort and reduce procedure times.

5 Squirrels

Illuminate is a skin-brightening serum that uses tyrosinase inhibition to minimise pigmentation by reducing melanin. It has four key active ingredients in the serum which work together to inhibit the enzyme responsible for melanin production in the skin: alpha arbutin, kojic acid, oligopeptide-68, and azelaic acid. During trials, the product demonstrated exceptional efficacy, with a 150% reduction in melanin content.

Dermanda

Dermanda’s Hydration and Firming Mask was formulated to deliver the ultimate hydration and comfort boost for all skin types. Developed by cosmetic practitioner and founder of Dermanda Skincare and Dermanda Clinic Dr Awatif Mandour, the mask is enriched with a combination of powerful, ethically sourced active ingredients to maximise absorption and optimise results, including humectants to hydrate the skin and promote the absorption of other ingredients, ginko biloba, aesculus hippocastanum extract and zinc to reduce inflammation and piper methysticum stem extract for skin conditioning and to lock in moisture, as well as caffeine, tuber melanosporum and hyaluronic acid. It is free from parabens, sulphates, and other harmful chemicals, making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive or irritated skin. It is also free from animal-derived ingredients and has not been tested on animals.

SQT

UK newcomer SQT has launched its bio-microneedling treatment, which aims to provide improved microneedling effects in a non-invasive way. Its new method uses SQT spongilla spicules, a bio-microneedle extracted from the freshwater sponge. Appearing as a powder to the naked eye and a sharp rod crystal under a microscope, these bio-microneedles are introduced into the dermis layer through hand massage to promote skin metabolism and collagen reproduction. The method claims to be suitable for all skin types, with a reduced risk of infection compared to other microneedling treatments.
