EMFACE

BTL Aesthetics has entered the world of facial devices for the first time with the launch of EMFACE. Addressing concerns around ageing by impacting key factors including collagen, elastin, muscles, and connective tissue, it is the first device on the market to utilise the simultaneous application of synchronized RF and HIFES™ energies (high-intensity electric fields). Synchronised RF remodels and smooths skin by heating the dermis and increasing the levels of collagen and elastin fibres, while the HIFES™ technology restores and elevates support of facial tissues by selectively contracting specific muscles while increasing the density and quality of muscle structure. Optimal results are seen six to 12 weeks after the final treatment.

Revision Skincare

Skincare company Revision Skincare has announced the release of the D.E.J. Daily Boosting Serum. The new serum, which is distributed in the UK by AestheticSource, utilises sunflower sprout extract technology clinically proven to address cellular ageing through using the antioxidant acetyl L-Carnitine, adenosine triphosphate, and omega 3 fatty acids to reduce skin glycation. According to internal studies by the company, 75% of users said their skin appeared plump, 75% said their complexion was vibrant and 83% said their skin looked hydrated after using the product.

SkinCeuticals

Phyto Corrective Essence Mist is the newest addition to SkinCeuticals’ Phyto range. The brand’s first mist is formulated with a high concentration of botanical extracts and moisturising agents to hydrate and soothe red, inflamed, and irritated skin. This ‘notouch’ essence offers an immediate reduction in visible redness and improvement in smoothness and plumpness and is perfect for in-clinic use post-laser and continued use at home as part of your patients’ aftercare program.

Mesoestetic®

Mesoestetic® has launched Skinretin® 0,3%, its new anti-ageing cream with highly effective retinol and high dermal tolerance. The cream is a night treatment for home use, backed by clinical and in vitro studies, and combines 0.3% pure retinol and 0.7% bakuchiol in its formula. It is formulated to treat ageing of any degree, including spots, lack of luminosity, dynamic wrinkles and expression lines, and loss of density and elasticity in the skin. The formula and texture are suitable for all skin types and it has a high dermal tolerance.

PCA Skin

Colgate brand PCA Skin has launched its Resurfacing Serum, a gentle, multifaceted exfoliator that delivers a unique blend of exfoliation and hydration to reveal clear and radiant-looking skin. The serum, formulated to be suitable for all skin concerns and types, including sensitive skin, gently exfoliates dull skin and other imperfections for a radiant looking complexion, while simultaneously calming and hydrating the skin, helping to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity. Its unique formula features a slow-release glycolic arginine complex and hydrolysed prickly pear flower extract to help dull skin appear even and smooth without irritation.

Obagi

Obagi’s first entry into the complementary skincare device market, Skintrinsiq™, delivers a relaxing facial experience that gently lifts the upper layers of the skin, opening channels and allowing impurities to be extracted. Obagi products are applied to the skin and positive and negative pressure, at tailored intervals and strengths, lifts and releases the skin to allow the brand’s skincare to be thoroughly absorbed and locked into the skin. An optional red or blue LED light helps patients reach their skincare goals and address problem areas without adding treatment time.

HydraFacial

HydraFacial has expanded its portfolio to include treatments for the neck, back, buttocks, legs, hands, and arms. Utilising a three-step procedure of cleansing, extracting, and hydrating, HydraBody can be used to address conditions including keratosis pilaris, acne on the back or buttocks, or pigmentation and uneven skin tone. Providers can use their existing HydraFacial platform and its vortex technology to further personalise treatments and provide upsell opportunities.

Lynton

Focus Dual, the latest skin rejuvenation device by Lynton uses a unique combination of two of the latest clinically proven technologies for nonsurgical skin lifting, firming, and tightening of the face and body – radiofrequency micro-needling (RFM) and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). Heat is targeted directly to the deepest layers of the skin, while the upper skin remains intact, resulting in almost no downtime. Varying needle depths, radiofrequency settings and HIFU focal depths allow the skin to be treated at every layer, offering bespoke customisation for each patient’s needs.
