STAR-STUDDED SAFETY IN BEAUTY’S INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND AWARDS RETURNS FOR NINTH YEAR

The glittering gala ball and awards ceremony was attended on December 3, 2022, by 750 cosmetic, aesthetic and beauty guests, including consultant editor Vicky Eldridge, who gathered to celebrate the great and the good of the industry.
TV hit show star from ‘The Apprentice’ and ‘Loose Women’ Saira Khan was the guest presenter of the night, with celebrity beauty influencers, press and media also in attendance, including Nadine Baggot, Alice Hart-Davis and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Nadiya Bychkova.
Created in 2014, the Safety in Beauty Awards are dedicated to recognising and paying special tribute to the many outstanding businesses, professionals, brands and service providers in the beauty and aesthetics industry. The awards highlight those going the extra mile in pursuit of excellence and the highest standards of safety.
ZENII LONDON LAUNCHES WITH CONVERSATION ABOUT MENOPAUSAL HEALTH

To celebrate the launch of ZENii London, founder and skincare expert Dr Johanna Ward and best-selling author, The Plant Power Doctor, aka Dr Gemma Newman, sat down to discuss its new bio-match vegan collagen, the effect of menopause on the skin, and all things gut health. Instead of cocktails, attendees (including editor Anna Dobbie and vegan beauty influencer Ria Holland, pictured) were given non-alcoholic Beauty Glow collagen wellness drinks and delicious branded cupcakes.
“To have access to a clinically proven vegan formula is a huge moment for the vegan and vegetarian community, as well as those who want to eat more plants as part of their daily routine,” said Newman. “The trial results are impressive and I’m excited to see the benefits.”
BTL AESTHETICS ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN DEBUT OF EMFACE

The company behind leading body-sculpting device EMSCULPT NEO has revealed its facial technology EMFACE, which is available in Europe for the first time.
BTL aesthetics clinical director Tomas Boleslavsky made the announcement at an industry event on January 19.
Boleslavsky was joined by double board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr Yael Halaas to discuss the non-surgical treatment and unveil impressive clinical data, including one-year-on results. EMFACE is the first device to simultaneously treat facial skin and muscles. It uses a targeted combination of Sync RF and HIFES, delivered via hands-free facial pads, to lift and tighten.
New body devices from BTL aesthetics were also unveiled at the event, including EMSCULPT NEO EDGE for hip and abdomen fat, and EMSELLA, a chair-based pelvic floor treatment.

On January 17, leading practitioners and trade press gathered for dinner. The event, hosted by Get Harley and Aesthetic Source, offered an opportunity to network and share new aesthetic insights for 2023. Aesthetic Source, a major UK and Ireland distributor of professional skincare, also announced portfolio expansions.
Medical-grade brand Pirori and top 10 US range Revision Skincare are now available from the company. They can also be included in personalised skincare regimens for your patients, in partnership with skincare concierge business, Get Harley, which is accepting new practitioners onto its programme.
