WELCOME TO THE FEBRUARY ISSUE OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE

It’s bittersweet to write that this is my last editor’s letter for Aesthetic Medicine. While I’m excited to see what awaits on pastures new, AM gave me my first break into the aesthetics industry as a journalist and made me realise that this is where I belong. In my time as editor, I’ve learnt so much from brilliant experts who are still themselves learning, proving that aesthetics is a speciality that will remain forever evolving, exciting and cutting-edge. You’ll find some such people in this issue, like Dr Preema Vig who has just opened her dream clinic after 18 years of dedication (pages 24-26), Dr Beena Harkison (pages 43-46), who demonstrates how much potential there is for the field to continue making new discoveries like the evolution of PRP to PRF; and Dr Rachna Murthy and Prof Jonathan Roos (pages 52-55), whose passion for patient care is admirable. Of course, I’m staying in the industry, so I hope to see you at an event soon!
