On March 27-29, the industry popped on their biggest shades and hopped in a helicopter to the French Riviera. Delegates enjoyed a diverse array of European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) accredited learning, from dermatology and minimally invasive surgery to gynaecology, anti-ageing medicine, practice management and more, with highlight sessions delving deep into the specifics of anatomy, techniques, safety, and complication management.

SYNDEO LAUNCH

Hydrafacial flagship store, London

The Aesthetic Medicine and Professional Beauty team joined Hydrafacial to celebrate the launch of its new Syndeo device on April 5 at a party, hosted by presenter Cherry Healey. With Kiss FM’s The Dixon Brothers on the decks, guests indulged in themed cocktails and canapes while having their portraits drawn and selfies taken by a Hydrafacial robot. Everyone had a great evening and agreed it was one of the highlights of the industry event calendar!

GETHARLEY AND OBAGI MEDICAL

IT London, Mayfair

GetHarley and Obagi celebrated their partnership by hosting an evening of insight and networking, with a focus on discussing how to improve patient experience and product retention. Obagi unveiled their exciting ‘Nu’ product coming to the UK and Ireland and guests saw first-hand how patients receive their bespoke skincare regimens via GetHarley, as well as learning more about how the platform and service can support their practices.

EMERALD LASER AT MEDIKA LAUNCH EVENT

Medika, Manchester

Medika hosted a fun evening launch event of networking, demos, and education on March 23, with canapes and beverages. During the day, press were invited to tour the clinic and received a 1-1 consult and treatment. “With inner health being at the forefront of our brand ethos, The Emerald Laser has been a fantastic addition to the range of health treatments that we can offer our clientele,” said Medika founder Dr Kamran. “The Medika Clinic is a health brand, so we take a holistic approach to our client’s needs and health goals. Clients feel better about their appearance and daily activities with increased energy levels, so we have found that the Emerald laser has also had a positive psychosocial impact on our clients.”

Hydrafacial and Murad hosted a Boosted Beauty educational evening at the Hydrafacial flagship store. A panel, chaired by Tatler’s health and beauty editor Francesca Ogiermann-White, discussed the collaboration between brands. Hydrafacial UK and Ireland country manager Lauren Gibson, Murad international education director Tracey Wilmot and Sarah Artistry Academy founder and director Sarah Kaisar looked at personalisation in treatment plans and other trends that are popular with clients.
