Medik 8

Medik8 has extended its Crystal Retinal range with the introduction of Crystal Retinal 20, a clinical-grade serum that is double the strength of Medik8’s current highest retinal formula. It uses the same time-release stability system to ensure skin is not overwhelmed. Featuring multi-weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin and vitamin E, this overnight serum hydrates the skin, visibly minimising fine lines and wrinkles, while firming, plumping and resurfacing the skin’s texture. Crystal Retinal 20 also helps address blemish-causing bacteria to keep skin looking clear.

HydraFacial

HydraFacial has partnered with skincare brand Circadia to launch two boosters that pair Circadia’s botanicals, stem cells and peptides with the deep cleanse technology of the HydraFacial device, and address skin concerns including acne, dehydration, pigmentation and inflammation. Protec Plus Booster delivers six different forms of hyaluronic acid and natural botanicals to increase hydration, plump fine lines, reduce signs of redness and protect against free radical damage. Chrono-Peptide Booster is designed to rebuild, recharge and repair skin, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines and give skin a glow.

Bio-Therapeutic

Bio-Therapeutic’s new Bt-Micro Fusion is described as an “ultrasonic skin perfection tool”, ideal for professional-grade skin cleansing, smoothing and product application at home. Meanwhile Bt-Micro Fusion Pro is designed for use in clinic and adds microcurrent to boost results through the professional treatment protocol. Both devices feature two power levels and three ultrasonic modes: exfoliation and cleansing; clearing and extraction; and application of serums, masks and creams.

Kysense

A new dermal filler is to launch in the UK in February. Kysense is a CE-marked class III medical device manufactured by Swiss-based Kylane Laboratories. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler is distributed by Circa Skin and available in Extreme, Volume, Define and Precise options, all without lidocaine. The range is manufactured using a process that preserves the long HA chains, leading to a smooth, supple gel matrix with “advantageous rheological properties”, says the brand.

Mesoestetic

The clinical skincare brand has launched Cleansing Solutions, a new range of cleansing products formulated to respect and enhance the skin’s balance. The full range is formulated with post-biotics to provide effective cleansing and have an antioxidant, anti-pollution and bio-balancing action, to promote skin flora and pH balance. Key products include Hydracream Fusion, a cleanser rich in squalene, Brightening Foam with gentle AHAs to refine the skin, and Purifying Mousse with salicylic and lactic acids to unclog pores and prevent skin imperfections.
